Great book if you are new to survey design. I found it to be clearly written and easy to understand. Nice job!

This book goes into unbelievable detail about the construction of different kinds of surveys. It is my standard text in a survey methods course I teach, and I've had at least one doctoral student give full credit to the Dillman book for her excellent response rate on a mailed survey she used for her dissertation. Excruciating, carefully documented detail on every aspect of survey design.

I'm just beginning to learn how to do a survey for research purposes, and the first two chapters of the book really helped me to construct a well rounded basic survey to sent to the students at my university.

It's my book for the Fall semester. So, glad it arrives in good time and very neat.

Solid book. It is considered the hallmark for survey building excellence -- not sure it is really keeping up to the times in terms of all of the different types of surveys possible now that we are moving more and more to digital. Yes, the principles remain relatively constant, but I still feel like it is not a real stand alone book anymore.

OMG!!!! I freaking LOVE this book! The material is digestible I don’t feel like the authors are talking over my head. All the information is useful and I have enjoyed reading each chapter. Some of the chapters are long but WHO CARES?!?!?!? Buy this book!

A rattling good read. Ideal for a rainy vacation, or a lazy afternoon by the pool. Lots of twists and turns and red herrings, and the ending will totally surprise you (spoiler alert: it was the chi-square that did it!).

Lots of good ideas in this book. Used it to the hilt.
