I’ve gone through about half-a-dozen “hidden” power-bank cameras in the past two years. Most of them looked promising online but delivered blurry video, overheated, or made it obvious that they were spy cams as soon as anyone picked them up. This 10 000 mAh model is the first one that actually works and could pass for an everyday charger. Why it beats the no-name competitors I’ve tried • Image quality: A real Sony sensor records sharp 2 K (2560 × 1440) video. Night vision is usable once you toggle the IR LEDs. • Disguise: The lens sits deep in the housing, and there are only two small mode LEDs. Friends assume it’s just a chunky power bank. • Battery life: Runs about 30 hours straight on one charge, and the LED display shows battery level to the exact percent. • Reliability and heat: Stays cool and hasn’t dropped a frame or corrupted the micro-SD. • Build quality: Dense, solid shell with tight ports—no rattling batteries or flimsy seams. What I like – True plug-and-play. No app or Wi-Fi handshake: insert the card, slide the switch to Loop or Motion, and it starts. – Gravity sensor auto-rotates footage, so every clip plays right-side-up even if the unit is mounted sideways or upside-down. – Ships with a 64 GB micro card and records roughly 48 hours of 2 K video before looping. Accepts cards up to 128 GB. – Legal-compliant out of the box (video-only). If you need audio, you can reformat the card with the alternate config file to turn the mic back on. – LED display shows battery in 1 % increments; no guessing when it will die. What could be better – It stops recording while plugged in. The seller says the next version will support charging and recording at the same time. – The 5 V/1 A output is slow for modern phones. I treat charging as a backup feature. – Without an app, you have to remember that blue LED = Loop, green LED = Motion, hold three seconds for IR, and so on. Ten minutes of practice solves it. – Because the lens hides behind plastic, footage is a little softer than an exposed action cam—fine for security, not for filmmaking. Real-world tips • If motion is rare, use Motion mode; my hallway test lasted six days on one charge. • Mount at a slight downward angle to avoid IR bounce from glossy paint. • Keep a microfiber cloth handy; fingerprints on the plastic window quickly blur the picture. Bottom line If you need a covert camera that actually records clear video—and you can live with slow charging and no live-view app—this is the best sub-$100 power-bank cam I’ve found. The Sony sensor, sturdy build, and truly stealth design make it miles better than the budget models I tore apart before.

Why do I need to hold for 5 seconds to turn on a camera? What happened to on/off switches? Why are the instructions so small? Safety instructions are small and almost the colour of the paper, unreadable, Why? Dose it have night vision or not? Hold for 3 seconds for Night vision, Right? (Naver got this to work) Hold for 5 seconds for just normal camera, Right? I don’t understand any of this, to me it’s just making things more difficult than it need to been. But it isn’t about us the customer is it?

Looks like a normal charger, records sharp 2K video. No Wi-Fi needed. Love it~

This home security camera has been awesome so far. Setup was quick and easy, even for someone like me who’s technologically challenged. The video quality is really clear, even at night—I'm honestly impressed by how well the night vision works. I can use it in my home or outside the house and I can check the live feed from my phone anytime, which gives me peace of mind when I’m not home. Motion alerts are accurate without being overly sensitive, and the app is simple to use. It’s also pretty compact and blends in well. For the price, it’s a solid deal. Definitely recommend if you want a reliable security cam.

I may have gotten a bad one, but the normal recordings looked like there was a red filter on them. the night vision was okay but any moving figure streaked across the screen.
