The cork strips were a good price and are meeting the needs for my classroom, however they do not come with adhesives or a solid backing to put your adhesives, it is just the cork board material on both sides. I have used command strips to attach to the wall and so far they are staying up, I do wish it has a solid backing though it would be easier to fasten to the wall.

I've been looking for a cheap lightweight chair rail to put behind our recliner in the living room which sits close to a wall. The wall got beat up after a period of time. I had my husband patch the wall and was looking for a solution.Regular chair rail is expensive and heavy. I didn't want something permanent on the wall so whatever it was needed to be held by command strips.That's when I had a "a-ha" moment and thought about giving cork a try.I like these because they are in strips which was perfect for my application. I needed to trim the ends and the cork cut clean.They hold with a few command strips and have saved my wall!You can't see them behind the chair so I left them the natural cork color. I'd imagine I could paint these if need be.Very satisfied. Quality product at a great price.

exactly what i wanted in some strips of cork. Just wish there'd been an option for adhesives to be included with it to make it easier to install when they arrived. That's truly not a deal breaker as i hit up the local big box store and got what i needed there. Love having a lot of tackable surfaces around my office now.

I was looking for cork strips to use for displays in a couple of classrooms. Most that I found on the market were only 1/4" thick. I have one at home and know that normal tacks are too long and only penetrate the cork halfway before hitting the backing. Very frustrating! I needed to find cork that was thick enough to push the tacks all the way in for security both in the display as well as to keep the tacks from falling out and being reachable by young children. I was so glad to find these 1/2" thick multipurpose cork strips! Tacks stay securely when pushed into the cork. There is no backing on this cork but it is easy enough to cement them onto a firm backing before mounting on the wall. At 36" long and 8 to a set, these can be arranged around the classrooms in whatever configurations the teachers choose. Exactly what was needed!

I used an acrylic two sided tape to adhere these to painted cinder block around the top perimeter of my classroom ... and then used regular push pins to mount floor to ceiling posters and maps that had been taped together. They have held up very well. The cork is very high quality. I purchased a different brand after these to try and save money because I didn't purchase enough, originally, but when I pulled the different brand out of the box, they started to crumble. THESE CORK STRIPS ARE WORTH PAYING A LITTLE MORE MONEY FOR!

These cork strips are perfect for hanging children's works of art, laminated pieces of paper, any thing you wish to hang using pushpins. The pushpins don't bottom out in this cork, providing excellent holding power. I attached the cork strips to the wall using the damage free picture hanging strips, so they fit flush. No need to provide any framework around the cork strips. I have had the cork strips on the wall for the last two months with no issues. Very happy with this purchase!

I had another teacher cut these strips in half lengthwise so they were half the width. I got double the strips so I could place in both of my classrooms to be drilled into the cinderblock in order to better hang up posters without constantly re-adjusting. ! I cut to my desired length depending on my poster size! I am not done with this project yet, but can tell these are quality cork board and will work awesome! Great bang for buck

Absolutely wonderful! As an avid quilter, I need a "design wall" a place I can view completed portions of my quilt as reference as I work on the next part. This was perfect. I butted the cork strips, end to end, across the wall where it meets the ceiling. I hung them with 3M Command Strips so there will be no trace if I ever decide to take them down. The cork is much thicker than a regular bulletin board so it works great with stick pins and would would great with push pins. This is a very reasonably priced and effective way to hang your stuff. The photo shows the cork strip, mounted with Command strips, and my quilt rows are attached with stick pins.
