Mason Craft & More Airtight Kitchen Food Storage Clear Glass Clamp Jars, 4 Piece Clamp Preserving Jar Set (.5L, 1L, 2L, and 3L)

Going old school by using glass! Yes breakable glass is a pain BUT I must slowly implement eating changes!! These airtight storage jars help keep my food fresh longer....not to mention the bpa in plastic of which we want to stay away from... Baby steps towards a healthier life!These are great for food storage not canning!

I want to try building pickled eggs.

The clamp bail grinds on the molded glass retaining rim and drops SHARDS and FINE GLASS DUST! I swapped out 26 plastic food containers for glass jars and about half have this issue. These jars are a hazard in food prep areas.

Bought this jar to hold a certain kind of flower/herb. The jar is halfway full with 4 oz of fairly dense flower. You could probably fit 6-8 oz depending on how fluffy it is.

Used for storage of dry goods, space saving, easy to clean.

I ordered the 2 litre jars, and I love them. They are VERY airtight and not cheaply made at all.

The jar is fine, the seller is very misleading as I only received 1 jar. The picture shows 2 jars and the text reads “jars”- I would not have paid that price for one jar.

I make 100% beeswax candles and am always on the look-out for cute containers for my candles. These little jars are just the perfect size. Big enough for a nice size candle, but not so large that I have to use all of my beeswax for just one. The stamp " Mason" on the top and sides is very cute. I decorate the front with a paper flower, and use raffia and dried flowers tied around the candle. I was afraid that the jars might break from the temperature of the hot wax, but so far, that has not been the case. These little jars are just perfect for my candle making. I definitely recommend them. They came well packed, as well.

When they arrived, I noticed the one jar had an obvious seal mark on the main support ring that goes around the main jar. I knew this would probably spell trouble, but assured myself that maybe I had just never noticed that "they all do" or something. Well, it took a few months, but it did eventually break--totally snapped. Now we cannot seal the jar, as it has no support ring. Well, now the OTHER one has also broke--exploded off, actually.I'm not sure what's up with it saying MASON on the jar, but being bad quality, but I do not recommend these. Buy somewhere else. These (at least part of them) won't hold up.
