Jawbone UP2

I bought this because of the design. It is nice enough for a woman to wear without being obvious. I can't get the tracker to turn on when its not connected to a power source. It won't sync to a phone unless it is connected to the power source. I walked 5 miles and it didn't count a single step. I tap it and it doesn't wake up. No paperwork comes with product and the website includes troubleshooting suggestions but I am unable to perform either a soft or hard reboot. The jawbone website continues to redirect to the home page when I click on a help topic. I contacted customer support which is only available by e-mail (no phone support) and they won't help unless I send proof of purchase. Why would I contact customer support if I don't have a product? The first one I bought had the same issue and I returned it thinking it was a fluke. Now that the second one has all the same issues I would not recommend this product.

This is an older model that I ordered to replace my previous one. The band broke on the first one after 1 year, so I replaced at this price its a great deal. The band is the weak spot, but I like the small size to fit my very small write. I am not going to wear this one to sleep regularly because that's what I think killed the band. Not, manufacture warranty do not apply since this is not an "authorized seller of Jawbone".

The Jawbone tracker is great for tracking my steps, but I can't get it to work to track my sleep and I really wanted a tracker for both of those things. I had purchased one and sent it back for a replacement; but this one does the same thing. I can't get it to "wake" either and it doesn't vibrate to tell me when I've been idle too long. I am disappointed in the tracker and cannot get online help because I didn't buy it through the company.

I adore the Jawbone UP2. That being said, it has been very disappointing they have gone out of business. Hoping to continue to use the UP2, I purchased another one to have for back up. Straight out of the package, when I plugged it in, the band never cycled through the light sequence. I continued to let it charge. When attempting to pair, it would only pair to the app if plugged into the USB port. Once disconnected from the power source, the band wouldn't wake up no matter how much tapping. I went through all of the troubleshooting suggestions, soft restart, hard restart, deleted and reinstalled app, rebooted my phone. The same problem continued. Very disappointed as I love their product and had hoped to use it daily.

I could not log in to my account or create a new one. So I looked into the internet to see what could be the problem and discovered that the company is gone out of business last may, and the app is not working, servers are down, therefore the product is useless!!! Shame on amazon US for still letting a product being sold. Amazon Britain and other sellers removed those items from the sales.

This product is unusable as there is no longer an app that supports it, I am frustrated that it would still be offered for sale. I tried to set it up and there is no longer any support from the company either.

Great product. Light weight.

Absolutely useless. The device will only work with an account registered through their app, but the company is out of business. Usableonly as an ugly bracelet. Do not buy with the expectation that you will be able to track anything. You won’t.
