Doorways, Windows & Transoms Stained Glass Pattern Book (Dover Crafts: Stained Glass)

I keep some stained glass pattern books on hand mainly to browse for inspiration. I have no intention of producing any of these designs in glass but I will definitely borrow inspiration from the book for my own designs. If you want to use one of the patterns as-is, you can scan it and then increase the size in print as needed. You could also trace parts of a few and then combine to make your own pattern. It's a decent reference book for $9.99 new.

Many designs to view!I wish some of the patterns were accompanied with color or real life examples, but very pleased with the product!

Somehow I thought this book would help me with the details of making stained glass for a transom but there are no details at all; this is just a book of black & white patterns & it took a lot longer to arrive than it said.

I am doing large window units and was so very pleased to see some real useful designs - clean lines, good for all levels of expertise, well organized in categories - a real must for my library.

Found several patterns that I want to build. In fact I have transferred one plan into my drafting software and will build it for my next project.

Nice designs! Provides ideas for your artwork. I like to just sit and look at the pictures, too. I have a copier which enlarges so these patterns will be useful. Would have liked to see the designs in colors instead of all black and white. Nice addition to my library of patterns.

Some designs attractive but not any good for leaded glass....... Some lines need removing or adjusting so tiny pieces of glass are not needed.
