Q: Can it be combed or once its on you have to leave it as is?

You'll want to comb your hair into it's general position, apply the fibers, then add a little hair spray to set everything in place. You definitely don't want to rake a comb across your scalp once the fibers are in place, but you can comb over top of the scalp to smooth the hair over the fibers.

I've used Topix and it is very thick cotton fibers that are supposed to look like hair. Boldify is much lighter, like a powder. It seems to sink into your hair, landing on your scalp and covering any thin or balding spots.
