FRANGOChocolates 45-Pc. Box of Chocolates (Dark Chocolate)

Frango used to be a cornerstone item that was sold by Dayton's in the midwest, especially during the Christmas season. Once Dayton's was bought by Federated and became Macy's, it became very difficult to find these chocolates. Low and behold, Amazon carries them and it was a fantastic Valentine's chocolate gift for my husband. He mentioned how really good they are on several occasions. Frango is a high quality chocolate that won't disappoint. I highly recommend these chocolates if you are looking to impress someone.

As a former Chicagoan, I have enjoyed these chocolates for years. Alwaysreminded me of first buying them at Marshall Field Department Store. Finestquality. Never bite them. just let each piece slowly melt in your mouth.

I’ve purchased these chocolates four times in the last 4 months. The previous 3 boxes have been SO amazing, so of course I expect nothing less this time. I was horribly surprised after getting my last box on Saturday since all of the chocolates looked discolored and tasted DISGUSTING. I mean like chocolate plastic if you will. I have no idea how to contact the “Mill Creek Market” which is where I bought them from. Amazon won take returns so I’m still trying to figure this out. But I’ll probably have to eat the cost I’m guessing. Just beware that sometimes you could get a bad box and not be able to return it....

I’m a Frango chocolate fan

I got a taste of these chocolates at a friends house and had to get my own box...It will go a long way if you just eat one a day. They are Not Sweet which is what I like about them.Great Product. Michele

My husband loves these chocolates. When I want to spoil him, I order a box and he cherishes them like they were made by a God. This box showed up today. I was home when it arrived. Felt warm when I opened the outer packaging so I put it in the fridge. When he opened it, it was a solid mess. Perhaps packaging needs to be rethought.

These were delicious. I went to order more and they are "unavailable". I will keep looking. Other reviews mention problems caused by the distributor. These were kind of dried out. The taste was fantastic, but they could have been creamier. The aftertaste lasted about 30 minutes. These are actually a good diet food. Each chocolate is 25 calories. 1 of them is a wonderful treat that you taste for a long time. That is a bargain at only 25 calories. A friend had some and said he was going to break them up and use them like chocolate chips in the ice cream he was going to make. I hope he brings me some.
