Nice sanding block
It was packaged really well and in perfect condition. It does what it's supposed to do. It's just as good as my Stewmac sanding blocks. Would buy again.

Nice
I had no problem sticking the sandpaper to it and the radius is correct but it's not metal and I might get some as long as the fretboard.

Worked well for my needs
Bought this to use on my offset guitar kit which said to use a 14” radius block with 320 grit sandpaper. I used double sided tape to hold the paper to this block and it worked great!

9.5 Inch Radius Block
Block radius was accurate and overall well made. No warps, lumps, or other issues that others report. Looks like some type of far eastern hardwood similiar to soft maple. Block not warped. Block is bare wood so I coated mine with polyurethane varnish to prevent future warping.

Mine's perfect.
I read some reviews that were less than stellar, but also some very positive reviews. I thought that if I got a bad one I could just return it. Actually, however this sanding block is excellent. I tested the radius against a radius guage and a known radius finger board. It spec'd accurate all along it's length. It is also bigger than most of the budget blocks. 20 cm (~8.5") by 7 cm (~2.75"). That is wider than most common bass necks, including the one I bought it for. The bottom is very smooth. It's ready to slap on some sandpaper and get to work. It's an unspecified hardwood. Guessing oak or hickory. Something with big pores, but quite hard.To anyone hesitating, I'd recommend trying it. If it is not like mine, exchange it. That's what I will do if I need another.

Absolutely perfect!
This is a well crafted and extremely neat piece of kit.I recently decided to turn my bass into a fretless bass. I pulled the frets out, formed a dam around the fretboard with tape, and poured epoxy over the top. After it had hardened, I planed the edges and starting sanding with this block! I went from rough to smooth of course and the finish is absolutely perfect. The nature of sanding with a block like this is not perfect still of course, I discovered only after re-assembling my bass that I hadn't actually sanded the fretboard flat! Back to the worktable and I sanded it some more. It plays wonderfully and I'm extremely impressed with the result.

Great sanding block!
Excellent piece of kit. It's very cleanly, well shaped and tough. Finally decided to sand down a 40+ year old rosewood fretless Fender Jazz Bass fingerboard. At that age, it's tough stuff. Fits like a glove and is very easy to use. Did a great job, with no more buzzing that had developed over time. Nice new bass with a more responsive action.Fantastic value for the price, especially if you consider what it would cost to pay a luthier. Highly recommended - just make sure you get the right radius (given that Fender now even uses 9.5" on some reissues and are being as inconsistent as ever).

Did the job
This has done what I wanted to change a 12" radius fretboard. After much careful sanding it's completed and plays lovely but it seems to have only taken it to 10" not 9.5" probably workman error however!

Not consistent !
The product appeared to have a twist diagonally from corner to corner when placed radius side down on a sheet of float glass which would be detrimental for the preparation of an ebony fingerboard intended for a baritone guitar.

Good Piece of Kit
I use Radius Sanding Blocks when setting up my guitars and have found this one to be really good. Does exactly what it’s meant to. Seems very accurate. What more is there to say? OH, it’s good value for money.
