Q: Is the ampacity of this 12G wire the same as "regular" wire, e.g. 20A at 120V, or is it less due to the heat dissapation issues?

I have only used it at about 200 degrees maximum in a drying oven. It has been in use for a few years with no issues.

Yes you can use this wire but a thinner one
