Unique Loom Baracoa Collection Area Rug - Miramar (4' 3" x 6' 1" Rectangle, Light Blue/ Blue)

So beautiful I bought two. Pile is low, definitely get a carpet pad underneath should you want something with some soft support. But the color is light but bright. Pastel. It doesn't distract from any focal areas or displays. It enhances my environments. I personally love them so much.Amazon design app doesn't display the color to its best. See picture for reference. Colors are more vibrant in real life than in the design app. I personally prefer the deeper colors, cause I have a lot of lavender, creams, pinks and teals in my decor.Yes it comes folded, guess what? It flattens out super easy. It will have creases for maybe a week- maybe, but it depends on traffic. I have the biggest one you can get and a small round one. Neither one had creases for long.Since the pile is low, it resists animal and kid messes. Get some carpet cleaner and be sure to avoid compressing the soil into the fibers. Get to the mess early, don't let it sit. It will be easily cleaned up.

We purchased the 8' x 8' round in the Rust Red. The colors are exactly as pictured in the image, the rug has a true thickness of 1/3" and it is very soft, not stickery like some rugs which is a big plus for us. Stickery might be a strange word to use, but for those who have had rugs, you will understand. When the rug arrived, it was of course rolled with the color side inside and wrapped in plastic. One end was crushed and wrinkled pretty badly. Having had rugs in the past, we knew it would take a few weeks/months for the wrinkles to go away and the rug to lay flat. We were not worried about that aspect, even with the super crushed wrinkled side. We decided to get out our handheld steamer and the blow dryer to speed the relaxation process up a tad. One of us held up the rug about a 1/3 of the way up (if that makes sense, as it is too large to hold completely up) while the other used the steamer on the back side of the rug. We did not soak the rug, just barely steamed it on the back then laid the rug down on the floor and used the blow dryer along the wrinkles. We kept the blow dryer several inches from the rug, just enough to get a little heat on the wrinkles. This process actually helped tremendously! I have attached the before and after pictures. It is a beautiful rug!

Gosh I think this is my fourth rug from unique loom. These rugs are HANDS DOWN the best quality you will get for this price. I like the look of very expensive Persian rugs. However, I can’t justify spending thousands for a rug that may be destroyed by pets and high foot traffic in very short order. Unique loom gives me a gorgeous, huge rug that is incredibly soft and has fringe, but at a price that if it doesn’t last more than a few years, I won’t be too upset. That being said, the rugs are very durable. Unfortunately, I had a sick kitty leave blood, and a lot of it, on a light yellow rug. I treated the stain, and it came right out. I have s feeling the only time I’d need to replace these rugs is if I redecorate, or if one of my cats learns to play with matches and burns a hole through one of the rugs. If you’re on the fence, hop over it and buy this rug.

The rug looks absolutely gorgeous when it comes to the pattern and the vibrant colors. I adore the combination of rust and teal/ turquoise and it goes beautifully well with our oak dining furniture. However, the rug came rolled AND FOLDED in half, with a sticker saying it was too big to be shipped just rolled. Mind you, it wasn't the biggest of the sizes, a mere 8x10! Other rugs we got at that size came rolled and not folded without any issues. Anyway, because of all that, it is VERY creased and wavy, and I have no idea how well or quickly it will start lying flat. Time will tell. I love it so much that I won't return it no matter what. ;) but it is something you may want to consider before buying.

My wait was very long due to USPS and not the seller. It was stuck in a USPS distribution facility in Florida for a long time.The colors are just as pictured but, definitely not as bright which I wanted. It looks nice where I placed it in my sitting room. I unfolded it and the folds are not bad at all. Overall happy with it.

I love this so much (and the price is awesome!!) that I first purchased the 8'4 round, and then also purchased the 5' round and the 5x8 for our playroom. As other reviewers mentioned, depending on the angle you view it at, it can look much paler/pastel. This is the most true with the 8'4 round size and not so much with the smaller round and the 5x8 I've found. I'm putting a pic showing how the big round looks pale from off to the side but more vibrant looking straight down as well as pics of the other sizes. All 3 sizes are the light blue colorUpdate. I have just ordered the 10x13 in rust red and am in love with it as well. Simy cannot be the price for this sized rug. Posted pics at different angles to show the color changing by viewing angle which is fine with me.

I was a little disappointed, the rug looked a lot brighter in the photo but when I opened it, it was just a bit more pastel than I thought it would be. It's not very thick so for someone like me who has bad feet, I need to buy a pad to put underneath it. I am still going to keep it it's not worth the hassle to return it hopefully I just get used to the lighter shades and learn to live with it.
