NYPD Shirt Hoodie Sweatshirt

I thought this was going to be a bit bigger than what it is. Right now I'm a bit overweight at 180 lbs due to health issues, and other sizes in stores are far roomier. I'm afraid that I am going to have to shelve this sweatshirt when I actually have it washed, but I will try not to actually dry it. However, the patches are quite sturdy, so drip drying it might be an issue in my home.The stitching isn't 100% perfect, but patches aren't ever really 100% perfect, are they? It's an accurate patch (as far as I can tell compared to my real patch from NYPD) and it came with a tag that says that part of the proceeds benefit the NYPD. I wasn't aware of that, I just bought it because I wanted one that was licensed by the NYPD. That's an added bonus.Wearing it, it's not as warm as I thought it might be, but it sure is soft on the inside! I layered on the underneath with a base layer and another shirt, and now it's fine for wearing in 69 degrees F. Keep in mind, I'm a person who has medical issues and poor circulation, and so I feel cold a lot.The construction seems nice, I'll update when it has a few washes to tell you how it stands up. I am one of those people who doesn't care about wearing something when it hasn't been washed, so I just threw it on. It didn't bleed colors like some things do or smell awful (you know what I mean, sometimes you order a shirt online and it just smells of chemicals). This shirt smells...like a new sweatshirt. That was a great thing to find.If you wear headphones all day like I do (Sennheiser Momentum cans for me!) the hood isn't cavernous enough to drape over my face, it's perfect and goes right over them perfectly. Wonderful.I just wish it was a little bigger and warmer, that's all.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Sweatshirt is soft and cozy and fits just as I expected. Great quality and arrived in plenty of time for Christmas.
