This was my first Holly Jackson book and wow — I LOVED it! I was hooked from the very first page and couldn’t put it down. The writing style just flows so well and makes you feel completely pulled into the story. The plot had so many twists and turns, I never knew what was coming next (in the best way). Every time I thought I had it figured out, something else happened and totally threw me off. What really stood out to me though was the relationship between Billy and Jet. You don’t usually get that kind of emotional connection or relationship development in thrillers, and it added so much depth to the story. It made me care about the characters even more.Overall, Not Quite Dead Yet was such a fun, twisty, and emotional read — I’m officially a Holly Jackson fan now!

An interestIng read
This is the first book I have read by the author.I found myself intrigued by the storyline but never got to liking the main character - Jet. She was childish and selfish and just an overall unlikeable character. The other characters felt somewhat undeveloped and weak. The story itself was good if rather unbelievable.A decent enough read for the price I paid.

Absolutely fabulous!
This is one of the best books I have read in a long time (and I read every night). I was gripped from start to finish, loving all of the twists and developments. I love the style it was written in and the story was niche - very different to anything I have read before. Now I need to find a book that compares.

Unique, well written, great pace!
I really enjoyed this book. It was unique, well structured and fantastically paced. I did feel the FMC was written in a bit more of a YA way. She felt more like a young 18 year old rather than 27, in her speech and behaviours. But that niggle aside, this book was an absolutely brilliant read.

Just like expected
Without talking about the story itself, the book is in great condition. The book is bigger compared to all of the other Holly Jackson books, but that might be because I bought the hardcover version.

Holly Jackson did it again!!
As someone who lives and breathes thrillers, Not Quite Dead Yet instantly called out to me especially being a huge fan of Holly Jackson. Her books never fail to blend mystery, emotion, and strong female leads in the most addictive way and this book was no exception. This one hit different. It wasn't just a mystery. It was personal, emotional, and quietly powerful in a way I didn't see coming.Plot: Jet Mason has seven days to live. After a brutal Halloween night attack leaves her with a fatal brain injury, doctors tellher she has less than a week before an aneurysm ends her life. Suddenly, her "later" has a deadline. Jet's spent years putting things off - now, she's racing against time to uncover who wanted her dead... before it actually happens. With only her childhood friend Billy by her side, Jet sets out to solve her own murder and maybe even live for real, one last time. What I loved: This book was an emotional slow burn in the most beautiful way. fell for Jet's voice - clever, raw, and unflinchingly honest. It wasn't just about finding out who hurt her; it was about uncovering how much of her own life Jet had kept at arm's length. There's a quiet tragedy in how we all assume we have more time to say things, to make amends, to figure ourselves out. Watching Jet fight through her grief, fear, and regrets while the clock ticked made the mystery even more powerful. And yet, despite the heavy themes, there were moments of humor, tenderness, and warmth. Her bond with Billy gave the story so much heart. And the writing? Just Wow! I didn't realize I was crying until I actually turned the last page. So, If you love stories with mystery and heart, this one's for you. It'll make you cry, think, and hug your favorite people a little tighter.

Amazing book!
I read this book, thinking highly of it already because I adore Holly Jackson’s writing so much. But this overdid it for me. I loved the pacing, the characters, and the story. The ending wrecked me! Overall, it was an extremely enjoyable and satisfying read that I will recommend to future readers!
