Personalized First Day and Last Day of School Sign 13" x 16" Large Chalkboard Style Photo Prop Back to School Supplies - 2 Pcs

I had different "first day of school" boards for my kids from prior school years but it was such a chore taking the chalk marker off afterwards. The chalk would only come off with a magic eraser which ruined the boards. I figured I'd give this product a try because I needed 3 and these were reasonably priced. There are 2 signs in the package = 1 for first day and 1 for last day. Initially I was disappointed with how thin they were but the colors were vibrant and the board wasn't flimsy, just thin. BUT the best part was cleaning it off! I used a baby wipe and it looks brand new. I did "season" the board by rubbing white chalk across the entire board. I then wiped it off using a dry paper towel. I'm not sure if that helped but the chalk marker package suggested it. I figured it wouldn't hurt! So overall product was thin but not cheap. I would purchase again.

The media could not be loaded.  I’m the beginning it wasn’t what I expect it because it’s not sturdy but it came with a same size cardboard piece and I glued them to it and now it’s sturdy and looks good.

I love the size of this chalkboard. The quality is great and great for the value!At first I was hesitant to buy this because of some reviews.It sure is a thin board and little flimsy but the quality is amazing.We used chalk markers on it and had no issue.Easy to clean with just a damp paper towel and no residue is left behind.Definitely recommend it if you don’t mind it being thin.

Okay so this sign is very appealing with bright colors. I just wanted to state that it is NOT double sided! I saw some reviews it was and then saw "2pc" so I thought great! I can have a sign for each kid for the 1st day of school for $14... I started filling them out and it was blank on the back ( as you can see I started doing one for the other kid and saw "last day" lol ) This is partially my fought for not reading more clearly. The "2pc" is one side "first day" and second piece "last day" Soooo it turned into almost $30 for the signs lol It is very thin but doesn't feel too cheap. I think if you use them and store them nicely they should definitely last a few years. I am wondering if they changed it bc some people wanted to adhere it to a thicker frame? I don't know but it is very thin, you could add it to a frame if you want, is not double sided, and if you have two kids starting school on the same morning.. buy two!

I love these boards . I bought two. It is not very thick but it’s thick enough especially for this price point and sturdy. I purchased a real wooden one as well that cost me close to $100 and only had a name on it so this is a steal and it’s huge !! The colors are vibrant and you can always write over what’s written already. I used chalk markers. It worked for me really well and you can’t beat this value . It also cleaned off really well .

I bought the chalktastic markers to use on these boards. I didn't do any prep on the boards, just wrote on them 2 days ahead of the first day of school. I erased them easily with no issues the day afterwards. I know if you leave the chalk on for too long, it can be difficult to remove, but 3-4 days was no problem with the markers I used. They aren't very thick, but they're sturdy enough for a once-a-year photo shoot with our little ones. Plus, I liked the prompts (we switched one of them by writing "Friends" over "Book", and it was fine).Felt like this was a good value since I've got 3 kids. And bonus, we'll get to do a last day photo, which I've never done before, but the kids will love.

Needed quickly for the first day of school - delivered as promised - comes with liquid chalk markers that are fun and easy to use. Sections to fill in are big enough to write legibly and add lots of info! Looking forward to the last day of school to fill out the back side

Absolutely loved this set! It’s not an actual “hardboard” but a sturdy, heavy cardboard. I actually liked this better because I had to throw away the other “chalkboard” type one I used last year because the paint wouldn’t come off. This one is fabulous! I made a few mistakes on this one and the chalk paint marker wiped right off!!!! Priced great and sturdy enough to last a few years.

This is not a chalkboard, so if that is what you are after, look elsewhere. But if you want something that resembles a chalkboard that you can use as a photo prop then this is perfect. It looks just like the picture. It is easy to write on and you can easily wipe off the chalkboard marker with a bit of water and re-use it for the next school year. I read on one of the chalkboard pen reviews that the white pen does leave a mark/stain, so I only used the other colours and had no problem wiping them off. I do not have much storage space so I was pretty pleased that these boards are quite thin and easy to store.

This was easy to use and looked great in photos. It cleaned up nicely. It is thin so difficult to say if it will stand the test of time but with proper storage I think it should.

They are cardboard so you want to be careful with them but they are perfect for first and last day of school
