Exactly what I wanted and expected great keyboard

Awesome looking keyboard works really well, comfortable to use but… US layout not UK so have to take a while to get used to that… (why they don’t do a uk version is beyond me…) backlights are awesome and keyboard colours are fully programmable and compatible through AWCC, not the cheapest but it matches my laptop and screens and Alienware stuff is not the cheapest anyway but I’ve not had many issues with their kit over the many years I’ve been using it.

If you’re into floating key style mechanical keyboards, this is definitely a keyboard for you. I love the RGB backlighting and it’s very vibrant; even in well lit environments. The small keys (e.g the letter keys, numbers, etc.) have little resistance and feel very smooth to press, while also sounding great, all things a premium linear switch mechanical keyboard should be. The bigger keys such as the spacebar, shift, and backspace are smooth to press, feel well stabilized and still have a nice click to them. Because this board is fully hot swappable as well, if you don’t like the stock switches, you can always switch them out, and a keycap and switch puller is included in the box. The case feels high quality as the top plate is made from aluminum (as a keyboard at this price point should be). It is a 75% layout, adjustable feet, and has an insanely long lasting battery life with RGB on over the 2.4 ghz connection at 72 hours, and a staggering 1800 hours with bluetooth on and RGB disabled. Because of the slim design of the bezels, it takes up only about as much table space as a good 75% keyboard has to, and has a very clean and cohesive look to it while also looking badass. The power switch is located at the very top front of the board, and the wireless dongle also has a slot it connects into at the top as well, making it easy to store and you won’t have to worry about losing it when not in use, and it connects flush with the board when you push it in so it doesn’t interrupt the look. It also has a unique RGB effect called the raindrop effect where it trickles a color throughout the keyboard as you press a key. All in all, If you’re considering buying this, I recommend it; even at the price. And, last but not least, aliens!

I bought the Alienware Pro Wireless Gaming Keyboard in Dark Side of the Moon, and it is a phenomenal piece of hardware. I wanted a board that could handle intense gaming but still feel great for long hours of coding and everyday typing. This keyboard nails both perfectly. The linear mechanical switches are buttery smooth. They actuate fast with zero resistance, which is exactly what you need for quick response times. The hot-swappable design is also a massive win. You have the freedom to drop in different switches down the road without buying a whole new board. When it comes to ergonomics, the compact layout leaves plenty of room on your desk for wide mouse swings. The two-step adjustable height legs make it easy to lock in a comfortable typing angle to keep your wrists happy during long sessions. The lighting is where this keyboard really stands out. The transparent switch housings make the per-key RGB look incredibly bright and uniform. Even at half brightness, the colors are vibrant and clean without bleeding everywhere. The battery life completely blew me away. You get around 72 hours on the 2.4 GHz connection with the RGB running. If you turn the lights off, it stretches to an unbelievable 800 hours. Switching over to Bluetooth 5.1 when I just need to work is instant, seamless, and stretches the battery life even further. It feels heavy, premium, and built to withstand years of heavy use. The double-shot PBT keycaps offer fantastic durability and resist the shiny wear you often see on cheaper boards after a few months. It is definitely a premium investment. However, the value for money is absolutely there. Given the rock-solid build quality, insane battery life, and flawless performance, you easily get what you pay for. If you are serious about your hardware, this is a top-tier choice.
