Works on toilets and showers too
I live in Southern Arizona where the water is mostly calcium and this product is made locally. It works on toilet bowl rings, showers etc. I don’t even have a pool but this is part of my cleaning arsenal. Patience is required to let it work its magic.Dirt can get ‘stuck’ on a shower floor between layers of invisible calcium so scrubbing doesn’t do much. This stuff? Removes it all with a light scrubbing. LOVE IT and swear by it. I need the gallon size I used to find in Tucson…

Did it work? No and yes. Please read below.
Didn't work on water line on my San Juan Fiberglass pool, but worked exceptionally well on black algae on my water fall. It turned the algae to powder and I glad that worked for black algae. Any recommendations on white scaling on fiberglass pools?

Great product.
This solution is a very good scale remover for my spa. I even use it for bathroom fixtures(shower, tub, and hardware etc.) I would definitely recommend it for easy cleaning on these surfaces.

Made the problem worse
Not only did it not remove the scale on the tile, it spread it around the rest of the tile making it look worse than before we started. We followed the directions, but each time made it worse.

This will turn dark grout white.
Not sure this really does any better than just plain elbow grease. Took the scale off but had to scrub anyway. This will not eliminate the hard work.

My wife likes it and she says it works on the pool scale build-up
My wife likes it and she says it works on the pool scale build-up. If my wife likes it then it must be a good product. She sprayed the scale buildup in the morning and let it sit for a while before scrubbing it lightly with a pumice stone then rinses. She says it took three treatments with heavy deposits. She has had me purchase three bottles already about two bottles to remove the very heavy buildup on the spa and wanted two more to finish the pool and keep one to spray occasionally to keep it from building up again. but they are currently out of stock. The closest price to the manufacturers price for Descale-It is from a pool supply company for $15 more than what I paid directly from Descale-It selling on Amazon, that's more than a 50% increase in price. I will wait for Descale-It to restock on Amazon.

Snaggletooth! Wish I’d seen this sooner! 🤑
Man alive! (Hey! I’m about 55 and reserve the right to still use this figure of speech 😄)ANYWAY! So I see this thick, white, crusty crap forming ALL down our recently added waterfall wall into the pool.“Great!”, I facetiously thought to myself and add, “WTH am I going to do to ‘clean/fix’ THAT!?!?”And off I went, in my most nubious way, shopping at Lowes, confusing sizzle for steak, acing purchased popular brands/high-costs of safe cleaners.Ya, ya, ya. Needless to say, I threw money into the air until my 3rd try, being this product. Holy hell it basically made the deposits almost seem to just flake off, albeit with my electric scrubber pad. And MAYBE there’s a 4th, etc. solution that can tackle my 1/4” crap clung to my tiled wall that doesn’t require a scrubber, you tell ME! Lol!

Worked - And Thanks to Other Reviewers for Their Advice
I read the other reviews and it was easier to understand how to use this cleaner and what to expect. I followed a video that suggested I cover the sprayed area with plastic wrap- to avoid it drying too prematurely. It was very helpful to have a substance that was not toxic as you have to spend quite a bit of time scraping it off. I did have a "white film" issue - I think the calcium deposits just cling to the surface if you aren't diligent about washing it off.
