Attack on Titan: Before the Fall (Novel)

It arrived fast, and I think it will be a great read.

I think I still prefer the manga version of this story but the novel hasn't been half bad so far!

I got the book yesterday and every chance I get I read it. The story is great and the book is perfect. Minus the random small bubble in the cover. Maybe it was from me, who knows.

Just as promised, great deal & came in perfect condition!

Great book to add to a great series.

Ever wonder how someone came up with the amazing 3-D maneuvering devices? Or what humankind did before they knew the titans had any sort of weakness?This book covers a period before the attack on the first wall. Humans lived happily guarded, some would argue caged, from their titan foes. They were thought of as indestructible because of their amazing regeneration powers. That is until one soldier managed to defeat one by sacrificing himself for the cause. This gives the Survey Corps a glimmer of hope, which they must pounce on fast before the government decides to disband the organization and any chance of bringing down the titans is lost forever.It is a well told story that kept my attention the whole time. It could have used a few more illustrations scattered throughout, as I think they serve as a good reference point for the reader. Some of the text is awkwardly worded. You expect this to some degree from a 200 page book, though. It was an OK read that I would only go through once.

A lot of people really underrate this series, but it is really well drawn, really well written, has some great characters, and this particular volume was just amazing

Good prequel novel. Adds great depth and background to the story, even with new characters.
