This is a great band and a huge improvement over the original band. There were a couple of issues. Once I had the band installed, the display would only show a broad line across the face. After fully charging the Fit Bit it remained. I removed the unit from the band and threw it in the trash. I then got my wife's Fit Bit (she stopped using it) and upon resetting the device it did a firmware update and, you guessed it, there was a broad line across the face. I dug through the trash and pulled out my Fit Bit which was covered in coffee grounds, cleaned it up and to my delight, it worked. I reinstalled it in the band and it has worked fine since. I shake, so the second install was a challenge. What helped was to magnetize the tiny philips screwdriver. This is simply done by dragging to tool in one direction over any magnet a few times.

I am on my second replacement band. This is the first one that hasn't been rubber. I really like this new band. It is so much nicer than the rubber ones. It looks better and feels better. The rubber ones each lasted a year and I am hoping this one lasts even longer. My only complaints are 1) I wish it came in an even smaller size. I apparently have freakishly small wrists. I mean even the hard plastic part of the fitbit is wider than my wrist so with the small band on the first hole it wraps all the way around and the end of the band touches the edge of the fitbit. 2) I wish it came in some other color besides black. The numbers are brighter with this band as there is no tinted lens over the numbers now so it is easier to see it outside in the sun and with sunglasses on. The hard plastic part of it is a bit see through so the electronics show through a bit but I have a couple of decorative covers from before that fit perfectly on this new band so it hides that. Give me another size and color option and I would give this 5 stars.

This is a lovely band and looks so much better than the rubber FitBit.The instructions are clear and easy to follow! I found getting the screws out to be a challenge. The FITBIT screws are TINY!!!!! The replacement screws are a little easier. You have to have good lighting and a steady hand. Everything you need is in the box. I didn't realize that it came with replacement screws and I was trying to work with the screws from the original FitBit - big mistake. Work over something that can catch the screws if you drop them. I worked over a big cutting board. I also used a pointed tweezer to get the replacement screws in place.

This is my 2nd fitbit replacement band, and this one is far better than the factory or other aftermarket bands. If you read the reviews on most replacement bands, their screen is tinted very dark, making it difficult to see in daylight. Fortunately this band's screen is very lightly tinted, thus the screen is easy to see in daylight.An extra plus with this band is that it is a true leather watch band, more comfortable and better looking as well.A great replacement band for my Fitbit HR.

Works fine, easy to change out, but it is not black, which it said that it was supposed to be. It's smoke. I can see the workings and I did not expect or want that. I'm looking at using a fine sand paper to reduce visability of the workings, which are not, in any way, interesting. You may ask why I didn't return it. Well, there wasn't another solution with a leather band, at the time.

I bought this band for my wife, as she is sensitive to Vinyl. The band works well. It is a bit difficult to install since the screws are unbelievably tiny, but they have provided tools to help overcome the Fitbit screw size. Tiny is tiny, so little they can do.

This band was a pleasant surprise. It actually looks much better than the original. Was ready to toss my Charge HR because it looked so raggedy. You just unscrew the mechanism and drop it into this new body. The straps are not rubber so it's not made for sweaty conditions. Looks like a regular Timex watch band, which is cool with me because I use it to track my walking. Would recommend to anyone.

After contacting Fitbit and being told I couldn't get a replacement band, I found this one Amazon and it works wonderfully. It was a bit of a chore to remove the old band and put the new one on. It's a comfortable band and more durable than the original Fitbit band.
