Seachem PURIGEN FILTER MEDIA REMOVES ORGANIC WASTE AQUARIUM FISH TANK (500ml tube)

The media could not be loaded.  Wanted to build a analogue of the Amazon or similar and added a large oak root that puts the black in Blackwater. It was impossible to see a inch through the water even with multiple rinses as oak is really rich in tannins. After some research came across this and worked overnight. Still dosnt get completely clear but like it as is. Better reflects the natural habitat of the fish im keeping too. The one sticking point is the regenerative process. States to use bleach but fails to list appropriate make as most cotain sticking agents and sents that would ruin the filtering ability of the purigen. Besides, failure to remove all traces of bleach will kill everything in the tank so avoided the whole process only getting one use out of it making it more expensive to use.

Great product! Tried a single dose sachet to see how it worked, cleared my aquarium frim tannin within 3 - 4 days so bought this to carry on treating the water and now the aquarium is perfectly clear!
