Terrible do not buy
The batteries that came with it didn’t work. I don’t know whose feet these are for, people who clearly don’t need any dead skin removing, avoid at all costs absolutely shocking but what do you expect for £20!!!! It’s in the bin it’s that bad!!! The product wouldn’t even be able to remove the skin off a rice pudding!!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!!!

It's Okay, but . . .
The media could not be loaded. I was going to upload a couple of videos to show it working, and me changing the head, but Amazon only lets reviewers upload one vid. This works well enough, but it is fidgety. The on switch is difficult to use, and when the batteries are in the handle does not fit correctly. When it is on it is quite noisy, and takes a wee while to get used to. It works well on feet and hands/fingers. My wife has very dry hands, and find that this smooths off the skin very well. She also has arthritis in her hands, and as such finds the on/off switch difficult. The head is exchangeable - and very easy to change - see video - and cleans very well with the included small brush. This comes with two AAA size batteries, so it's good that they are provided. Still, it's a pity that the design is such that the fit is not right when they are in.Overall this is good enough, but it could be quieter, easier to switch on and off, and the handle design could be better .

Fantastic device but difficult to open battery compartment and not the most sustainable packaging
This is a heel or general foot dry skin/callous removing rotary file that is battery operated, sold by Magnitone London. It is in a pastel mint green in a geometric pattern, but I believe a pink one is also sold. It has an RRP of about £25 as of late Sept 2018 but currently sells for just under £20 on Amazon UK. It is packaged in a cardboard box within a card sleeve. Once the sleeve is slid off and the box opened up (flip top), there is a vacuum-formed plastic tray that contains the device with the white "Regular" roller installed, a second dark grey "Extra-Buff" roller, a pair of AA batteries in a plastic film wrap, and a small plastic brush with nylon bristles for cleaning bits of foot off of the rollers. There are 3 instruction/warranty leaflets on what looks like recycled paper. Aside from the plastic film, all of the packaging is recyclable which is 4/5 for sustainability, and it's very easy to open, has an "ergonomic" design on the handle of the device and is pretty good in terms of accessibility but I can only give it 3/5 for that as the battery compartment was VERY hard to pull open - it would not be easy to for anyone with wrist issues or grip issues. The instructions very clearly state that this device must not be used by anyone with diabetes (I would presume therefore anyone with neuropathy of the feet e.g. after chemotherapy too, even though not specified) or circulatory issues in the feet - an important safety notice.Once the batteries are loaded into the base of the device, pushing one button is all you need to turn it on or off. The "regular" roller worked pretty well on the 'normal' hard skin on my heel, but the "extra buff" roller was needed for the really tough, granite-like hard skin near my toes - it came off really easily and was left smooth. Honestly, in under 5 mins it did what I normally pay a podiatrist £20 a throw to pare off - which makes it worth every penny and it's sold at quite a low price - even at the RRP. Changing the rollers is really easy - just a little button and a pull.A cloud of foot-dust flies off in use and a lot collects under the roller, so the brush is needed to really clean it - especially if you're sharing this with your other half, as it could transmit fungal infections quite easily if not cleaned well. Long hair, long sleeves/cuffs, jewellery and so on are not safe around this device - tie hair back and roll your sleeves up as things can easily get caught. The vacuum formed plastic packaging is not really necessary - a recyclable insert made of recycled moulded card (per an egg box) would be just as easy and probably cheaper - and the very hard to open battery compartment is a real restriction for a lot of potential users. Owing to these issues, what should be a 5* device really is pulled down to 3* - accessibility and sustainability should be priorities.

Did not work well or for long
I could do with help to rid myself of calloused heels on my feet but this machine did not do the job.It would work briefly and then just stop. That was it, every time it was near my foot it stopped. The packaging was overdone and gave a poor impression. Not a good item.

Its ok
the device itself has some quality control issue. the second head didn't fit correctly to the device, so you had to hold it in place in order to use it (it wouldn't click into place as expected). The device is light and easy to use.Where it goes wrong is when you apply anything other than light pressure. The roller just stops. Part of it feels like the batteries aren't strong enough to keep the roller spinning. It does remove dead skin well, and would be perfect for those who have a little bit of course skin on their heels, however for everybody else its a little weak, however if you persist and keep using it it would eventually make a difference to your heels. So it does work, but for stubborn skin its not really helpful unless you're happy to gradually sand down the skin over a few weeks.

Much flimsier than the Scholl Velvet that it's imitating
This is clearly imitating the Scholl Velvet and feels light and flimsy in comparison even though the cost is the same. That said it comes with included batteries and with two interchangeable heads, one for 'normal' skin and the other heavier duty for callouses. It works fine but feels significantly cheaper than the Scholl which is robust and chunky in the hand. This does cut out if you press too hard - but I guess that's a safety feature rather than a problem with the motor (a bit like toothbrushes which cut out if you put too much pressure on your teeth). Even if you have a build up of skin on your feet, little and often is the way to go otherwise you're in danger of taking off too much, especially with the rough roller, which can cause soreness, even infection.Given that this is no cheaper than the brilliant Scholl Velvet, I can't understand why anyone would choose this flimsier model.
