It's beautiful. I found uses for it immediately. I love how the pointy end is encapsulated with the cap with brass threads. A bit sharp but it seems sturdy. My old one is plain steel and I stabbed a spice bottle to keep it from stabbing glue tubes and fingers. This comes in a much better design by a long shot. I've even worked it around to separate frozen peaches and mango. It didn't bend the rod or damage anything that I know of. It's quite sturdy. It's more than an ice pick. You know those bosses that don't know what they are doing, they're brand new, don't know anything but feel it necessary to never back down? And they refuse to accept your wise council and neither do they accept the consequences of their idiotic mistakes. So they scapegoat you and fire you and your superior seniority, better education and grades, and expertise on the job? Yet they somehow became your boss anyway? Now your family is too poor to survive and you lose a couple kids for not having insurance because their HR rips you off? You lose your house and wife and then your health? I could continue but you've seen bosses like these. And they drive a BMW. Here's your answer to getting something through thick headed people who have no scruples. Neighbors too. How many safe tools can fit in your pocket and improve humanity? Not many. This won't let you down, (I would imagine).

Little brown lie
They advertise black, but don't actually offer it. Even the black style has pictures of the brown model on the page. So I ordered black and got brown, but its pretty good otherwise. Looks like a cigar.

The Fish Brainer
It breaks ice for sure. It also cracks fish skulls in one quick and easy motion without any resistance. If you are an avid fisherman and intend to practice Ikejime then this product is for you! Very sturdy, very sharp, and the blade is long enough to even brain a Mahi Mahi no problem!

Amazing Ice Pick!
This ice pick is not only beautiful, but amazing!!! It definitely does the job it is intended for and it looks and feels great in quality. It’s safety cap is also great. I will definitely buy more in the future.

Who superglued this thing
I like it, but I had to use two channel lock pliers to unscrew it and that put scratches on it. Also, each end is different colored wood. So no I don't recommend this...

Good icepick but took a long time to get it
Appreciate the quality of the ice pick but it took weeks to get it.

Sturdy comfortable safe best ice pick I've ever used
Safe sturdy and attractive ice pick just the right length to break up ice without being too long. The sheath that covers the ice pick screws on for extra safety the handle is more comfortable than the round type handles I've used before. Would be a very nice housewarming gift to be displayed with a bar set.

No es muy largo, pero si muy fuerte. Lo uso para picar el hielo que se hace piedra en el congelador y funcioba muy bien. Exelente priducto
