530 GPH Submersible Water Pump Ultra Quiet for Pond,Aquarium,Fish Tank,Fountain,Hydroponics

I purchased the pump for a hydroponic tower project. After looking at the specs and comparing to my needs I was a bit underwhelmed with the water flow. It works and it's pretty quiet in my application but I was hoping for a bit more umph.

Had this guy a few months now not only were the specifications on their website precise and consistent to what I needed, but the product actually worked as well as described! It puts out great flow rate with minimal watts used and is fairly quiet yet effective, and there were very few issues with maintenance or suction cup strength. All together, this adjustable pump is well worth the price I paid. Highly recommend if you’re contemplating grabbing one!

These are awesome little pumps! I got the 1050 gph pump thinking they might be "over rated" but I had to turn it down to about 50% flow rate because it was way to high. My pond is not real big, 8.5' by about 5' & it averages around 15" deep with a water fall that needs about 3-3.5 feet of lift & this pump has more than enough power to do that. This little pump really flows the water. Sometimes when things are priced low it scares you because you think they're probably cheap junk but not in this case. This pump will suprise you how much water it will flow. The first pump I received had been opened & used & it was bad. They sent a replacement right away & it was fine. Now the first pump was black & I think it had been spray painted because the replacement pump is blue. It stands out like a sore thumb in the bottom of my garden pond. I'll probably end up spraying this one black like the other one as it looks so much better than the blue one. But that is minor & not a deal breaker at all. I will definitely use this companies pumps in the future. Thank you! Jim.

Pump arrived on time and unbroken. Works great in my wife's garden fountain. Pumps a lot of water. May need to reduce the flow a bit, but that is an easy adjustment. Like most of these small pumps, if there is a lot of loose debris in the water, it will tend to clog up and either stop or slow down. Construction is a little flimsy, but about what I would expect for the rather low price. Only time will tell how long it will last. I would buy again.

The item was received damaged. The removable intake cover, which is made from very thin plastic, arrived cracked nearly in two with several of the plastic "grill" pieces broken and lying in a box with absolutely no additional cardboard or bubble wrap to provide protection during shipment. The pump arrived with a few other items in a larger box. The larger box -- too large, this allowed items to just bounce around -- had no packaging material either to protect items from being damaged during transit. However, the actual box that contained this pump did NOT have damage. This leads me to the troubling conclusion that the pump was packed already broken. However, with it being shipped so poorly, I can't be certain that the pump wasn't damaged during shipping.Also, the back cover (opposite the intake grill) falls off very easily, as well as the rubber suction cups. One last thing, I believe the "Ultra Quiet" in the product description is a bit misleading if you can hear the pump running in the next room. Having said all that, for my purposes, this pump can still work for my intended purpose. I'm only using to transfer water from a small barrel to another container. So, in my case, the broken intake, loose covers, less than "Ultra Quiet" does not matter so much. However, I am going to wait and see if someone contacts me to make this right -- I thought I was paying a premium to get a better quality pump; others this size were six to eight dollars cheaper. I definitely got LESS than I was expecting. I will update my rating based on if/when I am contacted.

Worked perfectly with the tubing we brought to quickly pump the water out of my daughters 25 gal aquarium. Powerful suction, not as loud as some others but not silent. We plan to use it for partial water changes on the new 40 gal aquarium aswell.

This is a good pump, for the value. I use it for a 3ft tall rock waterfall. It really does the job good. Good price too.

Bought a very spendy fountain last year and the pump that came with it stopped working. this has been a great replacement.What I really liked was the packaging. they put a shipping label right on the box the pump comes in. No box 6xs bigger than it needs to be with 20' of little air baggies to cushion it. Just slap a label on it and call it good.
