MerrellMen's Moab 3 Hiking Shoe

Just received my Moab 3’s & I’m happy with the whole transaction - including the boots! This is my 3rd pair of the Merrell Moab mid GTX boot so I’m aware of the criticisms regarding these.I bought these for the dryer weather - as much as we get in Scotland, anyway - so I’m well aware of any waterproof issues. I’ve other boots for wet weather. The reason I buy this model is for the comfort & stability on multi day walks - West Highland Way, Coast to Coast, Corfu Trail etc. I’ve never had a blister whilst wearing these.I don’t expect to get much more than 18 months out of them tbh & any more will be a bonus, although my last pair lasted 3 years before the sole unit started detaching from the upper. To be fair, this problem is common for most ‘fabric’ type boots - even those costing much more.This pair came via Amazon from the USA in timely fashion for £70odd but I had a voucher so a brand new pair cost just over £40 which I think is a great deal. Just remember with these boots to go up at least half a size.

Absolutely love these this is my 2nd pair,they are so comfortable to walk in.Size is spot on.I tend to suffer blisters but never had a blister wearing these. Would highly recommend

Comfy and very light. I ordered a size 6 and it fits well even with a hiking type sock. Would recommend.
