Works well. Haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity of usefulness.
Very bright, effective fixture that saves energy.Pros: Upon unpacking, the first thing you notice is the "funky design" that is reminiscent of a theme from a famous movie franchise. Brigh light that rivals my car's headlights. Sensitive motion detection that will not leave you groping in the dark. Does NOT interfere with our "Whisper Quiet" model, Chamberlain garage door opening signal from remotes as reported by another reviewer. Perhaps it only jams certain models' frequencies or, maybe, if it is positioned very close to the garage door opener's receiver.Cons: Fit and finish is adequate, but not classy and clean enough to feel like a great value. Has some minor but annoying cosmetic issues. For example the sticker label on the bottom center motion sensor that said "Deformable" had a big glue smudge on it. Documentation is in broken English. "Deformable," really? There is a mention in the instructions about the motion sensor emitting microwave energy. For safety's sake I am curious how many milliwatts per square centimeter are emitted from this device. However, a basic test of checking excessive electromagnetic radiation by holding a 2.4 GHz cordless phone near the lamp, indicates that it is within acceptable ambient limits.

Works great with slight modification
First this light works as advertised. Motion detection is superior. Very bright white light. Makes the entry way from our garage into the home much safer for my elderly Mom. And while you cannot adjust the time out setting, we are good with the factory setting of about 1 minute. The adjustment I mentioned is on me. The LED panels face out or down. We have an 8 ft ceiling, so it was kind of blinding in either setting. Most of the marketing photos show a tall ceiling. So I removed the mounting bolts, flipped the panels and reinserted the bolts so they now face out and slightly upward towards a white ceiling. This took about 2 minutes. The unit gives off more than enough light and it is much easier on the eyes.Perhaps the mfg will get smart and make a bracket giving consumers the choice on future models.

Bright and adjustable, but motion sensor needs adjustment..
As advertised, these lights are bright and very adjustable. I installed 3 into our 2-car garage with very high, 14-feet, ceilings and when the lights come on, it looks like the inside of a refrigerator. Every corner of our garage is well-lit, a definite improvement over any other single E26 bulb alternative. The biggest problem with these lights is the motion sensor, which for us, is nearly useless. The sensor works in that it detects motion reliably, but the lights only stay on for about 15-30 seconds. In this mode, they cannot be relied on for any amount of extended use, requiring you move around to trigger them to come back on constantly. There is no way to adjust the amount of time they stay on in this mode. For us, these lights are installed on very high ceilings, so it's inconvenient to switch the mode to manual and back to motion sensor often... we pretty much have to keep them in manual mode, making the motion sensor totally useless to us. There really needed to be a way to adjust the amount of time the lights stay on.

Very bright, lights large area, needs longer lit period.
The light is very bright with crisp white light (my preference) and does a good job of detecting motion. The articulating arms are nice though somewhat limited...as mentioned, they can be blinding if you look up into them. I only gave 4 stars because they only stay on for about 15 seconds if you aren't moving very much. I would be great if this was adjustable to to longer periods. If I'm working on something (like screwing some parts together) without a lot of body movement, they go out. Leaving me flailing my arms to trigger it again. I think it's too short of a time frame. It should at least be 1 minute and I would prefer to set it to 3-5 minutes. They're LED after all so they shouldn't burn out quickly or use a lot of electricity.

Turns ON when I like, but turns OFF too soon.
When they say the light is bright, they aren't kidding. But when they say you don't have to waive your hands in front of the light to make it work, they are lying. If I'm working at my workbench, vacuuming the steps, or kneeling next to the car, the light goes off. I'm constantly turning around and looking at the light to remind it I'm there and waving something at it.It's annoying, but I REALLY like that it turns ON when I need it to. when I open the door into the garage, any door, and when I'm walking through. The light switches in the garage are poorly placed and the garage door opener light doesn't quite light the stairs to the house, so this works out well. So as much as I don't like having to suck it up for a pretty pricey product, I think I'm going to keep it.What I would like to see though is the ability to control how long the light stays on for. I think it claims 10 seconds from the last time motion was sensed, but I don't think it's that long. It turns off QUICK. I'd also like to see a remote that you can mount next to the light switch to turn the sensor on and off for when you are working in the garage. Or for day time. My ceiling is pretty tall, I can't get the ladder out to reach the switch on it all of the time.

Extremely Bright
This light is great for garage and work areas. The LED lights can be easily installed into any existing fixture. The lights can be aimed in multiple directions depending on which areas you want to illuminate. They are extremely bright. I put 2 in my garage with motion direction so I never have to enter a dark garage. The only draw back is when using the lights in motion detection mode you cannot adjust the time the lights stay on and the lights turn off if you stop moving for 10 to 15 seconds With motion detection off the lights operate with the on/off switch. I highly recommend these lights in an unheated garage where fluorescent lights experience startup problems do to temperature and humidity variations.
