I have not gotten to set this up yet as I would like. This fits the pump but that is all I have been able to test. There is a relatively strong smell right out of the package and there was a slight sticky feel... plan to wash it before use for sure. I was a little frustrated with the packaging as the tubing was wound so tight there are some kinks but this is what I prepped for and wanted longer tube to work with as I have not fully fleshed out my set up and it may need to extend a few feed from aquarium to plants. Basically I knew this could be an issue in buying tubing and I suggest you possibly account for this. I will come back and review after set up.

I bought this to drain my basement dehumidifier. The hose is fairly rigid so it took a little working to get it over the output of the unit, but it's snugly attached now. Good value.

The tubing came so compressed that it no longer had a 5/8 diameter. I was using it for a water level and it was almost entirely useless as I put water in it and brought it around the project, it would expand and contract the volume of water that it could hold causing the measurements to be inaccurate. I ended up not using the tubing at all and instead shooting the house with a laser. This tubing might work in situations where it was pressurized and as it would expand to the maximum diameter. With that said, it is not reinforced and I would not put much pressure in it.
