We recently bought this and used it for our beach trip so the inside of the car wouldn’t be such a tight fit. It was perfect! We thought it was durable, functional, and easy to “install”. We were able to fit all of our luggage for a week Long Beach vacation and we aren’t light packets. It’s easy to fold up and store and has a great price point!

Great less expensive investment. I needed more luggage space for my little SUV. It was definitely easy to install and more space than I expected was available. Definitely recommend if you have a little space and need more.

I recently purchased this rooftop cargo carrier, in preparation for a 1,000 mile trip to Florida. It arrived in good condition, and it didn't take long to figure out the directions and strap it to the top of my car (I also bought a rubberized mat to place between the carrier and my rooftop, to protect the paint from scratches).The carrier is quite roomy, I think it fit something like 7 suitcases of varying sizes. And when strapped down tightly, it didn't produce much wind noise either (it took a little trial and error to figure out where/how to tuck some of the straps so they didn't blow in the wind and smack the roof of the car.My primary complaint concerns the front of the carrier, and how it closes. The zipper runs from one back corner up the side, across the front, then down the other side to the opposite back corner. And there's a flap that covers the zipper, with velcro to keep the flap down and the zipper protected from the elements. But the front center of the flap lacks velcro, so the wind stream coming off the top of the car lifts the flap there, and exposes the zipper. That became an issue when we drove through a heavy downpour of rain outside Daytona Beach, as the exposed zipper couldn't stop the large volume of rain from penetrating into the carrier bag itself. I wouldn't go so far as to say the bags inside were soaked, but they were certainly damp.If the makers of this product would place a velcro closure, or better yet a cinch-down strap, in the front center of this carrier, I suspect that would fix the leak issue and make it a great product.

I cannot say enough good about this thing. Last minute purchase to add capacity with a TX to MA move. I put this through the test... shoving more inside than was reasonable. 3 drawer chest? 3 shopping bags of food, 1 regular suitcase, 1 giant oversized duffel (containing wardrobe of one human), bedding, pillows, dog toys... and on and on. Shockingly not only did the thing close but it didn't budge an inch in 2000+ miles. And despite the two rain storms and one snow shower... everything was dry. (We did not expect this based on manufacturers warning about the waterproof not lasting through extreme weather)The ONLY things I can say negatively is that a: it turns your car into a sail boat in wind (but anything messing to aerodynamics will) and b: it is a pain in the butt to put back in the bag (but that is likely user laziness)Win all around!

If you’re looking for a solid bag to hold your belongings, it works for sure. The straps are a bit cumbersome but you can make it work with bungee cords. I have only 3 stars because the bag is not waterproof especially around the zippers. Everything i had in there was soaked and that wasn’t expected.Update 2/25-The manufacturer reached out and provided me a full refund after seeing my rating. Changed to 5 stars.

I’m never one to leave reviews on anything but this exceeded our expectations! This quite literally arrived the next day, it wasn’t our first choice but needed something asap to save space in our car. My husband and I drove from Florida to Washington state, we had this filled as much as we could because we moved states. It held up wonderfully. Wind resistance was great as well. I will say after buckling it in, we did extra knots so nothing would flap around while driving. Everything stayed in place, nothing tore or broke. Also recommend getting a lock on the zippers, gives peace of mind when staying at a hotel for the night!

My second time using it and turns out it’s got little tears everywhere. It’s not totally waterproof which was disappointing considering the price

I bought this for my daughter's Toyota 4Runner (stock roof racks with stock crossbars). It fit perfectly between the crossbars when moved to the ends. She put an amazing amount of stuff into the carrier, but some ends weren't entirely full. Because this bag design has straps that pull down from the TOP, you can get the carrier tied very tight even if it's not full. (Some place the straps under the zipper, which makes it flop like mad.I had some leftover 3-mil plastic sheeting with which we wrapped her stuff, just in case. She drove through some rainstorms on the trip (driven rain), and had the carrier sitting on top of the truck for three weeks (standing rain), and the carrier didn't leak at all.This was a good investment for a college kid.
