Amazing product!!!!!!!!!
I have been using these tea bags for almost three years now and will not turn to any other brand. I love them for their ease of use and durability. I will let them air dry and reuse the tea leaves in them and my tea always turns out great. I have never had an issue with leaves leaking from the bag even though it is a fold top. The material used is ideal because when the tea leaves absorb the water and expand, the leaves push the folds together to create a nice seal in the hot water. Also the price cannot be beat.Great Value

No clean up? Sign me up!
When trying loose leaf teas for the first time, I thought about how much of a pain in the ass it might be to have to either:a) get a strainer and have to clean it every time I drink a cup of tea; orb) having to drink the tea and try to navigate around the leaves in my cup as I continued to blow the leaves around and try not to end up chewing on some of them. These are the perfect solution to all of that! I measure out the amount of leaves that I want per cup, throw them in individual filter bags, close them up and throw them into a sandwich bag to carry around for my own portable, personal tea. Although some people seem to be worried about not being able to seal the bags, just folding these babies over (I actually fold them over and then fold the bags in half, opening on the inside of the fold - don't know if that makes a difference) really does do the trick. They seal nicely once they're in water, and I haven't had a single problem with tea leaf escapees.Don't want to clean up the mess but love the option of custom loose leaf tea mixes? Don't forget to order these!** EDIT after years of using the same product:I stand by these filter/tea bags to this day. I also brew a humongous pot of herbal gogi berry tea every two days, and just a spoonful of the berries (a special herbal mix we buy from a wellness shop) in one of these bags and I can get a nice, dark batch of tea, with the easiest cleanup possible. What more could you ask for?If my review has helped you in any way, please let me know, or hit "Yes" under this review. Thank you! :)

Essential to Get the Very Best from Your Own Tea!!
If/when one finally learns how to close these bags properly, they work just fine. I understand the frustration of those who have not yet mastered the closing process, and I, too, learned hard way. Read The Directions!!Otherwise, these self-service tea bags work just fine. I've bought a few more packs for myself and ordered some for a few friends as well.Folks always ask, "how much dry to use per cup or pot?" with fluid volumes unknown, the question is impossible to answer. Do you want your tea to look like apple juice or very strong coffee? Will you wait through a 4 - 6 minute steeping period, or do you want it NOW? It is up to you. Using these user-filled tea bags and 190-200F water, I *usually* get excellent results with one 'scant' teaspoon of dry tea per 6-8 Oz. cup of waster - in a preheated 3+cup pot kept warm. Ritual and formal rules? Heck no! That's just how I do it. These bags are not really necessary; you can pour your brewed tea through a piss-elegant tea strainer, just like the elderly English women do, but it is not necessary. If you are anything close to the curmudgeon that I am, easy preparation of good tea is important. In the end, anyone who uses loose tea should be using these simple 'tea bags.' I do not understand how anyone can make great tea withouot these little bags, but you can try. In the world ok kitched/cooking/beverage gear, this has to be one of the world's great treasures. (Lipton - or similar - may have invented the tea bag, but what goes inside is far more important. These bags give the sipper a choice. Heck Yes!!-C.Disclosure Notice: I bought these tea bags on my own and paid cash; they were NOT preview gift from the distributor (bust should have been!)

Happy I bought these tea bags
So happy I bought these tea bags. Now, I can make tea bags from herbs grown in my kitchen garden or received from my friend. These make it very handy for me to take to work for that strong flavour which far exceeds the commercially produced tea bags. From reading previous reviews, I tried a trick to keep the contents in the bag which requires sealing it with a toothpick. That works great. If there are no toothpicks available, you may fold over the top of the bag after flipping the designed fold. Another key thing to note is make sure you place only enough ground herbs to leave two thirds of the bag empty. Dried ground herbs rehydrate when hot water is added. Make sure not to stir much if at all. Just let the herb steep after the water is poured. Take it out with a fork or spoon and your cup of tea is free from the bits and pieces of herbs. I have not tried fresh grounds herbs. Maybe someone can try that and see the result. It should be quite the same except the ground herbs may produce a stronger taste. Great product! I recommend it to everyone!

I absolutely love these bags
Exactly what I've been looking for all these years (though I didn't know it). I absolutely love these bags! I've gone through many, many tea infusers over the years, and have yet to find one that actually fulfilled its promise of not letting stray bits of tea out into the wild of my tea mug. I recently purchased a new batch of loose leaf tea that I was advised was extremely fine, and started the search for a new infuser with even smaller holes than my last. When Amazon suggested I take a look at these filter bags, I was dubious, but at less than $5 for 100, it seemed like it was worth a gamble. So happy I decided to try them! They're easy to use - just spoon the tea in and fold the top cover over. They do their job - not even the tiniest bit of tea has escaped into my cup. You can even throw out the tea and rinse & reuse the bags a couple of times if you're trying not to be too wasteful. I adore these so much that they're now on my Christmas list for a couple of my favorite fellow tea lovers!
