On the Line
Liked that it was shot in my home town Laredo, Texas. The film was ok, video and sound quality was good.

2010 DVD Release is Overly Edited
The original movie deserves 5 stars. This 2010 DVD release gets 0 stars. I've always enjoyed this movie, have had the VHS tape for years, but refused to pay for the overpriced out-of-print 2000 DVD release. So when I saw this 2010 DVD re-release, I bought it immediately, only to be disappointed with the hatchet job that Vanguard Cinema has done to it. I counted at least five scenes that were cut (some with David Carradine, most with Victoria Abril), and the result is a watered-down PG rated version of this movie. Also, there are no extras on the DVD, it's just the movie in a straight 4x4-1.33 transfer. I thought that by purchasing this DVD, I would have saved myself the trouble of transferring my old VHS copy to DVD, but it looks like I will end up doing that anyway, since this DVD version is just too cut up and edited. If you want to see this movie in its entirety, in its original form, then skip this DVD and buy the old VHS tape version. I never saw the 2000 DVD release, so I can't comment on it.

If Only We Could See The Director's Original Cut
Too bad we'll never get to see this film in it's original form unless we fly to Spain. I think it's US distributor cut it with a rusty axe. Some of what's left is quite good, but David Carradine is really a minor character and has little screen time. He is only featured prominently on the packaging as he is the only actor in the film, besides maybe Scot Wilson from "In Cold Blood") whose name name Americans would recognize. Still worth a viewing, and I give it four stars not based on it current US released form, but on the obvious intent of the film, which was made by a director who quite a highly respected filmmaker in Spain.

mysogenistic racist-as-hell garbage for absolutely no reason
I watched this because I thought it had been reviewed on the How Did This Get Made podcast. Alas, it was the wrong On the Line, so I couldn't even justify having sat through such nonsensical drek in the name of future entertainment. When I realized I watched this plot-challenged, mysogenistic racist-as-hell garbage for absolutely no reason, I wanted to cry.

Horrible, Just Hideous
This is probably the WORST move I've seen in DECADES. Bad plot. Bad Acting. Miserable cinematography. This movie has nothing to recommend it whatsoever. The best part of this movie was the FBI copyright infringement warning, After that move went into the toilet. I watched this movie for free, and I STILL feel cheated.

Forget it
It was a halfway decent movie on VHS, but with a bit of, "C'mon now you expect me to believe that?" But this is ridiculous---badly edited with many of the scenes cut out. Buy the VHS tape if you can find it.
