Michelin Maps: Michelin Map 526 Languedoc Roussillon

Good mapping for drivers.
Always a good map for driving distances. The paper used self-destructs at the corners of folds very soon, but this has been the case for the 40 years we have been using them.

A massive map!
This is a remarkably detailed map of an extremely large area. The only drawback is its size - about which it is difficult to complain! It is of most use as a planning map since it is too difficult to open it in a car without eventually destroying it.

Good Map
Clear and precise as you would expect from a Michelin map. Only wish it came in a format that you did not have to wrestle with to fold or unfold!

Fine map.
Was just what we wanted for our holiday in the south of France. It was up to date and detailed enough to be useful. (Before we set off, and being the cautious type, I used on-line maps and magnified them to plan more complicated routes.)

Top quality map
When it comes to travelling, I'm a bit of a cartophile. This map from the Michelin series is a great detailed map that I used endlessly on my stay in Languedoc. Great value for high quality and accurate map. Every new road in the region seemed to be included.

2 sided coverage of region
This covers the whole LR region - more than the old map which annoyingly stopped short of Carcassonne. The scale is 1" to 3.16 miles, (1:2000,000), and covers Toulouse in the west to just East of Avignon, and from le Puy en Velay down to and just over the Spanish Border, including Andorra.

It's a Map!!
What can you say about a map? It is a very good map and gives us a better view of where we are going on holiday than online mapping or satnav ever can. Map arrived when it was supposed to. I love maps so I think it is very good value for money.

When Satnav fails
This is an easy reference layout and excellent for those times when the Satnav thinks it knows best, but doesn't understand the lure of the smell of fresh baking coming from a village you're passing, or a less travelled route through the hills and valleys.
