It definitely covers and protects your awning while in transit. Really bullet proof.
I have a 9ft. awning that is 7 years old and starting to wear at the front edge when rolled up.I felt the price was a bit high for plastic tubes, but cheaper than replacing the awning, which still has life in it. I watched the videos, but was still concerned at the effort needed to get the cover on the awning. You are up on a ladder and do need a good degree of hand strength to get them on. They did not come off as I opened the awning. I had to get back on the ladder and remove them. So, they serve the purpose of protecting the awning but be aware that there is effort needed to get them on.

Difficult to install
The awning cover does protect the awning but it is difficult to install and equally difficult to remove. I ordered the cover for a 12' awning and the three pieces will cover the awning completely but only allow about a 1" overlap.

This item is ok!! I ordered white and got black oneS! I kept because it took long to get them!! It was easy to install, I hope they are easy to take off also???? Overall this is what I wanted!! 👍🏼

Effective way to prolong the life of your awnings.
A little difficult to install the first time, but from then on they are a breeze. They keep your awning cover out of direct sunlight.
