Bought it to brush up on my kanji. I did so successfully. Worth the price. Each kanji has their own section, the stroke order, and readings. The layout of the kanji is logical, and they include a good number of real, common examples of words with a given Kanji. 5/5 for just being useful.

My daughter and her husband went to Japan to take Japanese as a second language, and to take JLPT exam. They used this book before they left. Just for kicks I also am learning some Japanese so we can practice talking to each other. This book is great. Not only does it have both alphabets and Kanji, it has words from the same symbols you are learning at the top of the page.

This is a thick book with a lot of exercises in it and will keep me busy for a long time. I appreciate how the book is laid out. Practicing the lettering is very calming.
