Plays great and sounds amazing
After some minor setup adjustments out of the box, this guitar plays, looks and sounds great. Great tone and can’t beat the quality for the price. I primarily play psych, dream pop, and shoegaze and the tone is versatile for just about everything I’ve done. Plus it looks great.The tremolo bar has fallen out a few times on stage so keep an eye on that. I’d recommend that you swap the strings out for a fresh set and oil the fretboard, as warehouse storage is not kind to these guitars.

Great guitar!
I was extremely pleased with the condition the guitar arrived in. Anytime a guitar is shipped, you can expect some adjustments to bring it back in. All functions on this guitar are easily adjustable Including Bridge! The body size of the Jazzmaster contributes to the wonderful sustain of the instrument. Add the double humbuckers with the split coil tone knob and you have an extremely versatile workhorse. perfect for anyone from beginner to working musician. Love it!!!

Disappointed
I bought this guitar expecting the same quality of other purchases from Fender. I was disappointed from the moment it arrived. It was only thrown in the box with some cardboard bracing that's all. The finish and pick guard were all scratched up, the neck was not properly finished, and the humbuckers had a ton of buzzing.Overall, go with a HSS Strat.

Wasn't Jazzed!
Just got mine. Great looking but quality control out of the factory in Mexico needs help. Fret buzz galore, action too low and irregular, etc, and required a pro set up. I'm glad I bought this from a dealer at a less than MSRP and sans tax which more than made up for the cost of making it right. Ironically, the dealer claimed to have had their luthier go through the guitar prior to shipping. Who is this guy, Stevie Wonder? Anyway, it sounds and looks great now.

All I can say......
Is HAHAHAHAHAHAA! ...... just, totally floored with this guitar. Never, never, never saw the range of sound, and playability of this in daily use coming. I could not be happier with any guitar. This thing is a freak. And the neck. The neck. I don't know how..this neck makes every other neck I've ever touched feel like a 2X4 in comparison. Also, I would argue this comes through the amp as one of the cleanest guitars I have ever heard. This is the one. I no longer dream of a custom Shop Jazzmaster. This can't be improved on.
