GE Arrowood 60" Brushed Nickel LED Indoor Ceiling Fan with SkyPlug Technology for Instant Plug and Play Mounting

This fan is so tedious to assemble you need two people and 8 hands. I’ve mounted a dozen ceiling fans. This is not a mounting/electric task; this is ASSEMBLY! You need to piece together while on a ladder or stool, about 1( different parts, screwing in and removing screws; holding heavy objects with one hand while lining up holes and inserting screws with the other. And then it didn’t work. May call an electrician as I’m spent. Took almost 3 hours. Last ceiling fan I got from Amazon took me an hour. BEWARE!!

I wanted to update a very old ceiling fan. I looked around and found this was exactly what I was looking for. It is very nice looking, has ample lighting, puts out a very good breeze (4 speeds) and a remote. We had a pro install, and he was familiar with the new installation. The fan is also very quiet. So for the $$$, I couldn't be happier!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I set this up in a covered patio, had to buy some parts at home depot for less than $10 to complete the project. This was super easy to setup. they have an online video, however I would follow the written instructions as the video is somewhat lacking. The Fan quality seems good I have only used it for 2 weeks, but the parts seem of high quality. At full speed the fan is stable, the remote is simple to use. I would recommend this Fan.

Downside: our electrician did not like the installation of this product. I was not there, but what added to this is our fan light would not work. He said it was a pain to troubleshoot - having to remove and re-install the fan.Upside: our fan is still not working. After customer service sent a replacement part, and it did not fix the problem, they did not hesitate to send a whole new fan! Excellent service! I was on the fence of re-packaging and sending it in, but now I don't need the hassle. (electrician does still need to spend the time to try the install, but it is what it is I guess, as they do not have a warranty representative for the labor aspect).By the way, so far everyone loves this product.-written by a custom home builder

I have other GE fans like the Morgan and the range on the remote seems much better. Skyplug is technology is okay. I like the ability to quickly take the fan down but have only used it once on an outdoor fan. This fan is not rated for outdoor use. Over tightening or bending the skyplug bracket in any way will make installation difficult. Best fan I could find in this price range.
