Don't know whose problem is, but what I got is horrible
Zero star for the product I received, FIVE for Chefs Corner Store Rep, they are really helpful.First, from what I got for this series, Miyabi 5000MCD67, they're master piece and real beauty. For the item itself, horrible. The first one I got with default on its "é›…", one extra large dot. And some scratches around it. Even some on the blade. The bottom one is the one I received in the third image. From the top is 5000MCD, 5000MCD67 and 5000s and 5000MCD67 paring. The paring knife is the only one got such big default on. Others are perfect. So I ordered another one which arrives today. What I got is a major surprise. Large scratches from 0.2 inch to 0.4 inch long and across over 0.6 inch wide on both side of the handle. And this is how Zwilling treated its customer, with horrible quality.

A lovely, sharp quality blade
This is one of the most beautiful knifes I have added to my collection. The handle is lovely wood, with an intricate burl pattern. The blade has gorgeous and functional damascus cladding. The knife arrived dangerously sharp. I see no flaws in the construction and received the knife undamaged. My only gripe is the price. Some handmade Japanese knives cost less. Other factory made blades of equal quality are readily available for considerably less.

perfect handle and knife
Comes with a perfect handle that feels great in the hand. You can get close to appreciate the steel grain of Damascus and wood textured.

Doesn't Hold Up To Acid Foods
I used this to slice a fresh lemon. I immediately rinsed it off as I always do with such expensive knives. When the blade dried, to my dismay, it had turned almost black from a reaction to the acid.I've never had a knife that I couldn't cut a lemon with and get this sort of reaction. This is a bad choice if you're concerned about the appearance of your knives.
