Aqualon Value Pack Brush Set, Round 13/Pkg

I purchased this set in April 2017. I started using the size 8 almost exclusively, for watercolor, about 3 months ago. It makes fine lines beautifully, and does a pretty decent wash in a 7”x10” canson XL mixed media (so not huge) pad just fine. Twice recently my new cats have stolen it off my table and scarpered down the hall, dragged it into the bathroom and started “hunting” it in the bathtub! I only caught them at it because of the weird sounds. After giving it a good rinse, it still points beautifully, and still paints fine lines, and of course, the smaller washes. I would absolutely buy this again, but probably won’t need to!

I absolutely love these, particularly for their durability and quality for the price. I’ve tried to baby them a little but honestly I’m terrible on my brushes. They arrived very tidy and with no errant bristles, the pack contained a nice variety of sizes, and they’ve held up very well. I love the acrylic handles because there’s no risk of them swelling up and messing up the ferrule or lacquer coating chipping off if they’re left in the water too long. They’re soft and bendy but maintain their shape well.

Great brushes; easy to hold and use; they treat the paint and canvas well.

These brushes are so nice. They’re not too expensive and get the job done. They came in great condition, none of the hairs were out of place. Whenever I use these, the bristles stay in place. They hold a good amount of water in them to give your perfect washes. They come with these itty bitty brushes that allow you to get thin details perfect for painting hairs. I definitely recommend these brushes and will be buying the other aqualon brushes as soon as I get the chance! Hope this review was useful! Happy painting!

Started watercoloring for a hobby durring quarntine and might I say these brushes are awesome ! I love the sleek look for one! They have been holding up really well - I paint atleast once a day and they still have kept there shape. I’m pretty heavy handed too (learning process) . They havent done much fraying unless I put the little plastic cap on wrong 🥴 and thats only 1 or 2 hairs that have suck out. Its been easily fixed after reusing the brush and putting the cap on correctly ! So very happy with his product!

These are my rough brushes, I have some very expensive kolinsky brushes that I save for when I am doing detail work, delicate stuff, and stuff that I want the higher quality for. When I need to lend a brush to a friend painting with me, or when I just need to beat the thing around, these are fantastic.

I'm a gold-medalist builder of historical dioramas and rely on a range of these brushes (round, filberts etc) to paint and detail my work. [I also use brushes from other manufacturers] Can't bet the quality for the price!

I have been using them to paint on my pottery pieces. They are great for fine detailing and they clean up well.

Ya había utilizado este tipo de pinceles, pero el precio comprando este set es bastante bueno, son de gran calidad, perfectos para pintura en acuarela o acrílicos, es de las mejores marcas que he usado, cuando se desgasten lo volveré a comprar.
