Sabree Missy Cargo Short

I got a pair of these (beige) about a year or two ago in a discount clothing store. I am a volunteer park steward, and I use them primarily for desert hiking and trail work, which involves contact with sharp rocks and spiny plants. I have worn and washed them at least weekly and they are holding up really well - no rips or loose threads. The pockets (front and back cargo pockets have velcro closures) have lots of room to carry my cell phone, car keys, business cards, pepper spray, and light first aid supplies so I don't need to carry a pack.I like these so much, I ordered two more pairs in red and brown. They arrived quickly and the material is the same good quality - like a soft, wash and wear denim. If you order red or other bright colors, you should definitely wash them separately from other clothes before wearing.As other reviews have mentioned, they fit loose in the waist (which is good for hiking comfortably). The fit in the backside is very flattering on me.

shorts have a boxy fit (waist not much smaller than hips). I don't mind because I have an apple shape these days, but if you have a very small waste, your belt may make the pants look weird.Stitches holding Velcro on back pocket separates if you actually use the pockets every day. If you don't often use the pockets, than the velcro keeps the pockets looking nice and flat.The colors do not hold up over multiple washes.This is my 2nd purchase of these shorts, in Olive and Navy. I wear them every day. I work with dogs and cats and live in South Florida. These are a perfect alternative to the high end, small inseam, hiking shorts. They don't last as long, but they look good, and have all the requisite pockets.

Pretty disappointed in this because it would appear that Amazon doesnt really want honest opinions because I have tried to post my unhappiness about the shorts that I received and they won't post it. I received these shorts and they are HUGE so I tried to contact the seller to ask for an exchange and the seller never responded. Sad that I am now stuck with a huge pair of shorts I won't be able to wear.... I didn't say anything bad or mean just that I would like an exchange and Amazon didn't want to post it. Let's see if they will allow this one to be posted. Of course the one that I posted about being happy with a product they posted but not the one that I'm unhappy.... what's the point of a review if you're only posting the good ones? I do not want others to buy these shorts and find that they are also huge and be stuck with them.... that's an honest review.... please post!!!

i bought two of these shorts, using sizing information from the supplied chart and based on my own measurements. the shorts were very tight and i requested an rma to exchange for a size larger, assuming that this should not require additional postage since the problem is essentially erroneous information supplied by the vendor. but the response from the vendor, jack white apparel incorporated, was that their profit depends on postage charges, and offering the puzzling reason for the size problem that the measurements in the chart are those of the pants, not of the customer. i was sent a postage-required rma and decided to keep the shorts instead of paying double additional postage - for return of the ones i received and the larger ones i was requesting. needless to say, i will not be dealing with jack white apparel inc. again.

These are nice looking shorts. I have two different colors. The only thing I really don't like about them, is the heaviness of the material. These are not super hot weather shorts. They're just too heavy. They are a tiny bit on the baggy side, but fit well. If that makes sense. It feels like I am wearing more clothing than I am, and the pockets and wider than average leg openings are what make them feel baggy I suppose. I prefer a thinner material in summer weather clothing, so these are not something I pull out of the drawer often.

I saw all the comments about these shorts, so I thought I should buy a larger size than I normally do. I am 5'2 and 110lbs. So I ordered a size 8. I was swimming in them. So I contacted the seller to exchange for a size 4. Very attentive seller, no problem what so ever. Sent the size 8 back, and in no time got the size 4. Fit perfectly. Awesome seller, awesome product. Will definitely order from this seller again.

When these came, 2 of the flaps for the pockets were bent up and I was sure I was going to have to iron. But I washed them and they washed beautifully, no iron needed and the fabric is nice and soft. Now, as to the fit. I ordered a size that I wasn't sure if they'd be a bit too small, but they fit just right in the hips, but the waist is huge! I saw a review where a man was happy with them and that makes sense, he shouldn't have hips, they should be the same size as his waist. I also saw a review where someone was saying they could just pull them off without unbuttoning or unzipping them, well, that's why. The waist is about the same size as the hips. If I take the waist in 3-4 inches, they will fit beautifully! So, too big, but very nice fabric, a very nice length, lots of pockets with velcro, and since they're too big in one spot, I can have them altered and they will be perfect!

I love my shorts!! The shipping was fast!! But I should have ordered a size smaller. My two old pair of Sabrees are size 8. But the new shorts run big. Must order size down next time!! For now I'll just again a couple pounds then they will fit perfect. For now I'll use a belt!!! Hee Hee. Have a great day everyone!!!!
