Post-Shave Stone, Natural Alum Block, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

This alum Block works well. It can stop the bleeding from small cuts and has a pleasant smell. It lasts for a long time i still have it after 5 months. I find it better to pat it on after shaving than to rub it. If you have small cuts, I also find it better to leave the block on it for a few seconds and then remove it. Also, it dries fast. Make sure it wet it with cold water before applying it.

It stings like alcohol and it is supposed to. But you’ll get used to it. Works fairly well and most nicks stop on one or two touches. Adding this after cold water splash also helps. I tend to leave it on and do not notice any issues with drying. It doesn’t do much to “soothe” your face. Bar is a good size and I think will last me years. Cardboard box it comes in has held up so far- don’t put bar away wet and should be ok but eventually I’ll probably need something else. No issues with cracking or bar holding up. Edges may come a little “sharp” at first but these will soften with use, similar to a bar of soap. As long as you don’t butcher your face with your razor this will do the job.

Very nice and soothing, although it will hurt a tiny bit initially. Smaller than expected but still gets the job done. I would recommend.

I bought this 4 years ago and I still use it regularly for both nick relief and for general aftershave care. Works well in both regards, stopping small bleeds quickly, disinfecting more serious nicks prior to the old toilet paper trick, and keeping my face clean, bump free, and less irritated after a close shave. The original box is starting to show signs of degradation (alum buildup, loss of structural integrity, etc.) but it's made of cardstock and has travelled a lot, so that's to be expected. The stone has shrunk and smoothed out, but again, expected after 4 years of use. An essential part of any home wet shaving kit with a permanent place in my medicine cabinet and toiletry travel bag.

I suggest you choose carefully, because you're applying this directly onto freshly shaved skin; you want QUALITY here, and you have to trust the manufacturer. It’s a nice big bar that’s easy to hold and will last a long time. My issue lies with Amazon’s packaging of the bar. The bar was delivered chipped and broken due to being in a paper box from the manufacturer and then tossed loosely into a bubble pack for shipping.

Was a little apprehensive about if this would do anything but after a few small nicks and scrapes it has actually slowed the blood flow and provided relief from itching. It doesn't do anything if its a deep cut but i have other products for that.

Gerçekten kaliteli bir ürün, tıraş sonrası cildi yatıştırıyor ve rahatlıyor. Eskiden tıraş olduğumda, tıraş sonrası özellikle çene bölgemde kızarıklık ve döküntü oluşuyordu. Şimdi ise bu şikayetlerimin hiçbiri mevcut değil. O yüzden gerçekten parasının hakkını veren bir ürün. Tavsiye ederim.

Ein Traum, wenn man sich den Rasierhobel mal wieder quer durch die Backe gezogen hat und man saftet wie ein angestochenes Schwein hilft auch der Allaunstein nicht mehr viel. Aber dann solltest du auch überlegen den Hobel oder das Messer wegzulegen und dir nen elektrischen Rssierer zu besorgen. Für alle anderen kleinen Schnitte oder zur generellen Nachbehandlung absolut empfehlenswert. Mit dem Stein kann man das Aftershavegel liquid Peeling Creme what ever sogar weglassen. Schön feucht halten den Stein und langsam ohne Druck über die rasierte Stelle drüberfahren keine pickel, keine hautirritation Spitze! Hilft sogar wenn mals das Deo ausgeht Achseln schön waschen Stein feucht machen und paar mal durch die Achsel schieben tiptop
