This stuff works great!
This product is easy to use, and very effective! It is thickish gel formula that coats the inside of your sink drains to eliminate fruit fly or drain fly eggs, and quickly put an end to your problem. It is safe to use and the only thing you need is a measuring cup. There is no harsh chemical smell, in fact it is rather pleasantly scented. I measured and poured 8 ounces around the perimeter of each sink drain, and let it sit undisturbed overnight. I monitored the fly activity over the next couple of days and began to notice a decline in the amount of drain flies I was seeing. After a week, they're all gone. The product is pricey, but for the amount you get and the effectiveness, I feel it is a good value for the money. Would I buy it again? Yes! Would I recommend it family and friends? Yes!

This drain fly killer really works good! Fixed my scuttle fly problem with one treatment.
I was skeptical of this product and others. Thinking it wasn't going to do much. I was totally wrong! This took care of my scuttle fly problem. I had two=three areas of infestation. Bathroom sink, shower drain and under the toilet rim in the water jets of all places. Those damn little scuttle flies were driving me insane. And they would make their way to the kitchen too at times. I knew they were in my bathroom sink and toilet rim because every time I disturbed the area around there, they would emerge. I didn't know about the shower drain until day I noted three or four of those little buggers coming out. So I went nuclear on them with his stuff. I did one treatment in each location. shower drain was filled to the top capped off after so there would be no escape. sink drain as well. with the overflow taped shut. And for the toilet, I taped off the water jets and poured this into the overflow tube so if drains down. Then plugged a mini bug zapper into the wall, closed the door and waited. I checked the zapper every day for new zapped flies, and waited for a few days when there were no more hits. Then flushed each drain with very hot water and so far, a week later, I haven't seen any new ones coming back. In total, I had the treatment in the sink and shower drains and toilet for a total of 4 days. So this works amazingly. I bought a few more just so I have it on hand and will apply another treatment maybe a few times a year just to keep that breeding ground dead. Thank you for this product.

Works pretty well.
Works well but you need to close the drains afterwards. Most of the drain flies are gone after repeated uses.

Actually Works
I first bought some of those sticky cards to catch the fruit fly infestation in my home. They worked great but it wasn't slowing them down enough. I was catching 50+ flies a day on those sticky cards. Went on for about a week before I tried this. I poured about 5 oz down two different drains I suspected of having the infestation. The next day I caught less than 10 total flies from 50+ the previous day. Now on day 2 I've seen maybe 3. I'm going to treat again to make sure but I'm pretty sure this solved my issue.

Useless product
This stuff was suppose to kill these pesky gnats that live in the drains where according to the internet, live and breed. I have followed the instructions of reapplying but NO success! They are still around. Unless I can't read or follow instructions and am missing something, I would NOT recommend this product. (BTY I am 74)
