Packaging could have been better to get open i had to cut shipping bag and it cut one of the MREs in the process

I ordered 2x the 3 pack for a total of 6 MREs. Initially I only received 3, contacted seller and they immediately sent out the other 3. Mistakes happen and the seller made it right, no complaints and much respect.Of the 6 assorted MREs, good variety and they're all authentic US issued surplus. It wouldn't appear these are sourced from someone eating just the good menus and selling the trash. All of the ones I recieved are at the very least decently palatable.Picture of the date codes show these all were packaged in late 2020. So within their preferred 3 year inspection at time of writing (5/2023), and will still be stable for years to come (depending on how you store them).Ex. Date Code 0338: 0 = 2020; and the 338th day of the calendar year. This date is in range with what the seller has listed and at a very reasonable price. $10 ea is what I paid. Other sellers who have MREs listed for less than $10 have package dates much older than that. I saw one that was 9 years old.Not all the packages are tightly vacuum sealed, but all are unopened and in great condition.5/5 will buy again.

Fun experience and definitely useful when camping outdoors at very cold temps. Usually it's difficult to get water to boil in those cases. Although this is very expensive so definitely not something worth eating every time.

Bought for my grandson who was very interested in military history

It's an MRE, what do you want? Fair priced, has inspection dates. I ate 2 of these just to test. The Mexican chicken stew is on point. The elbow macaroni in tomato is gross. Again, the seller is on point. To be fair I've had name brand microwave dinners and they were way worse tasting. It's survival food. Keep this in mind... I will order from this dude again.

Clearly bait and switch. Not MREs. Humanitarian Aid meals . All veggie. Undercooked lentil stew and pasta foulness. No chicken. No beef. Two entrees. And FIVE gross baked goods. If my own mother were starving I wouldn't feed her this slop. You have been warned.

The 3 I received were out of date by 4 years. I understand MREs can last for a long time after, but that doesn't mean they absolutely will. Be warned that you will probably get the same expired kits.

In this review, they gave me the Chicken Burrito Bowl and the Infamous Pepperoni Pizza slice menus. I have to say that the MREs are very fresh with the inspection date being in 2021. The other menu they sent is the creamy spinach fettuccini which is the worst menu out there imaginable. I will exclude menu choices as that can vary a lot on preferences, I heard one guy was fighting for the infamous Vomelet menus and everyone happily traded his MREs for the Vomelets.Based on what the seller has provided, the MREs are fresh, authentic US rations, and there's no torn packaging. Five stars.
