Gigabyte Aorus AMD B450 AORUS M Motherboard with Hybrid Digital PWM, M.2 with Thermal Guard, Gaming LAN with 25KV ESD Protection, Anti-Sulfur Design, CEC 2019 Ready, RGB Fusion 2.0

I'm running this with a Ryzen 5 2600, 2x16GB sticks, an NVMe drive, a couple of SATA SSDs and a RX580 and performance and stability are absolutely rock solid. My choice of case limits me to mATX boards, and although there are quite a few out there, this was easily the best of the bunch for me. Having a board that's part of the Gigabyte family is worth the small premium above some others, and the quality of the board is great. I've not used the stock heatsink and have fitted a Noctua AM4 specific model, which requires removing the AM4 retention brackets (leaving the backplate in place), which was incredibly easy to do. The board layout is very easy to work with, and the additional heatsink covering the NVMe slot is great for cooling down toasty/fast drives. A cracking board all told and you'd be daft to pass this one as a choice.

I have only bought this motherboard because it was one of the cheap motherboards that I could purchase with a bundled M.2 heatsink on the motherboard. All I can say is that I am very happy with the motherboard! The heatsink helps a lot, dropping the usual 80°C temps to 50°C (temps may vary depending on case airflow). It was a bit wider than my old motherboard, albeit being still on a mATX platform, so people may have some spacing issues on certain cases, but it is truly a feature-packed motherboard for its price range. Paired with a Ryzen 7 2700X with a stock cooler, I think this won't be struggling under my usage anytime soon.

Needed a board to drive the 2700 however even for a matx board it is lacking advanced features to overclock the cpu. And I'm not talking about 5Ghz overclocking, just pushing it to just below the 2700x. However its not too big of a deal RGB fusion is okay, but is very limited, kind of disappointed with that too, more configuration with digital LED's is needed rather than just a small handful of presets.

Very easy to install and works great for my first build but the rgb sync software is terrible and I can barely customise the rgb but still a great product for the price

I bought this board to replace a faulty MSI board to use along with a RYZEN 5 2600, have to say everything works perfectly out of the box, this board has excellent overclocking options (if that's your thing) and the lighting looks cool, my only critique about the board is the lighting software is a bit of a pain to configure, but that's not a real problem. Has plenty of conveniently placed connections on the motherboard for USB, FANS, HDD ETC, which seem to have cable tidying in mind.

This product was very easy to instal, with no iritating issues. It is easy to use and I am thoroughly delighted with it.

If I have no solution by the end of Saturday 15th sept. The manufacturer's tech dept tried several fixes. None worked. I sent the item through An Post on 24th Sept with return label attached and proof of postage kept. Oct 2nd i am still awaiting refund and confirmation of item received by Amazon. Awaiting updates on my email complaint. ISSUE: The motherboard usually (above 50% of the time) does not boot up my PC properly. (1) Sometimes it will be stuck in a loop, with no video signal. I have the BIOS settings changed so that the RGB Fusion is set to a blue colour, and I notice that every 10 seconds (approx.) it changes from blue back to the default orange and vice versa, so seemingly it is switching back and forth between my custom BIOS configuration and default BIOS configuration. On some occasions, eventually the motherboard boots into Windows. It has booted with the motherboard LEDs orange on some occasions, blue on others. (2) Sometimes it will show the boot screen (the AORUS logo, along with text detailing which buttons to press for UEFI, BOOT OPTIONS, Q-FLASH, etc), but it will remain on this screen for an indefinite time, presumably frozen. (3) On approximately two occasions it has shown an error screen with the title "Boot failure detected", with no specific error codes. And on some few occasions, it boots into Windows normally upon being powered on. I experience no issues when I am fully booted into Windows. All the components of my PC have been bought within the past 9 months. These issues have occured on stock BIOS version (F1), and persisted after I flashed the only other available (F2). I have tried restoring the default BIOS configuration through CMOS reset and through the BIOS itself, I still get these problems, with no pattern as to which one occurs. After consulting with the tech support they were unable to resolve the problems. I am returning the product.

It doesn't have many rgb ports, except one 4pin rgb that inst compatible anywhere and is a aurous based problem, maybe get a corsair commander pro

Après près de 2 ans chez MSI (Intel Haswell-R puis Ryzen) je reviens chez Gigabyte. Techniquement c'est une carte-mère connue pour moi car déjà utilisée il y a ans, à sa sortie dans un setup pour un ami. La carte en elle même est bien finie (conforme à ce que j'ai toujours connu chez Gigabyte, le bleu du PC B en moins... enfin!). RAS à par le BIOS un peu "oldschool" qui ferai passer le BIOS d'une A320 Asus ou MSI pour du très haut de gamme... Comme ça ne fait que 2 jours d'utilisation je ne me prononcerai pas sur autre chose. Conforme à mes attentes : 4 slots RAM et possibilité d'OC + slot M2 refroidi (pour le futur) et 6 SATA. Add-on : Après 11 mois d'usage je mets un gros bémol, pas tant sur la fiabilité de la carte, elle fonctionne parfaitement mais plus sur sa compatibilité RAM calamiteuse, à priori réccurente sur B450 mais là en gros, ne comptez pas upgrader plus tard la RAM en remplissant les 4 slots. au moins 5 références de RAM testées en plus de mes 2 x 8 Go initiaux et toujours des problème : refus de démarrage, BSOD... et avec un R5 2600 et un R7 3700X donc je pense pouvoir être assez catégorique sur mon avis. Seul 2 slots sont vraiment opérationnels donc si vous voulez 32 Go mieux vaut partir direct sur un kit 2 x 16 Go (pour du FS2020, DCS ou Cyberpunk 2077, ça peut être utile...).

Tiene bastantes puertos SATA, viene con disipador para discos M.2, tiene puertos USB3.1 de segunda generación y trae un puerto PCI Express x4 (a parte del x16). Es cierto que la BIOS se podría mejorar por que algunas opciones están un poco ocultas (la virtualización hay que activarla en la sección de memoria) y para actualizarla tuve que usar un USB ya que no pude hacerlo desde el Sistema Operativo. Las ranuras de memoria están algo cerca del socket del procesador y pueden dificultar la instalación de la memoria (con el disipador de serie de un Ryzen 2600 entran justas, pero entran).

Ich habe das Board mit einem Ryzen 5 2600X Prozessor bestückt und alles lief auf Anhieb sehr gut. Der Einbau in das Chassis und der Anschluss aller Komponenten verlief problemlos. Das installierte Betriebsystem erkennt alle Komponenten. Trotzdem habe ich mir auf der Herstellerseite Software und Treiber herunter geladen, damit das Board auch optimal genutzt werden kann. Auch ein Bios-Update habe ich noch nachträglich durchgeführt. Das Preis/Leistungs-Verhältmis finde ich sehr gut. Das Beste kam aber, nachdem ich das Board erworben habe. Der Hersteller hat die Unterstützung für die 3000er Serie der AMD Ryzen Prozessoren per Bios-Update frei geschaltet. Damit ist es mir nun möglich, vielleicht später einmal einen anderen Prozessor der 3000er Serie, mit dem Board zu nutzen.

Vou evitar os aspectos técnicos, pois existem pessoas mais qualificadas para fazê-lo e muita informação disponível, ofereço um comentário no nível de usuário, então se desejam algo técnico podem avançar a página.:) Fiz uma vasta pesquisa para substituir a minha placa que deu tilt após uma sessão de liga e desliga com a falta de energia aqui na minha região e o no break não segurou (bateria já pelas últimas). Essa não foi minha primeira opção, mas tive a boa sorte de encontrar tutoriais que revelaram fragilidades elétricas na placa que eu desejava comprar; essa placa estava fora do meu orçamento, mas me encantava e era bem vista no mercado. O que me convenceu: o dissipador de calor...kikiki com paciência esperei uma oportunidade que apareceu numa promoção imperdível. Não me arrependi, ela entrega o que promete...e para mim, não é necessário muito, uso apenas para edição. Estou muito contente. Recomendo pesquisar, ouvir os usuários, pensar no seu uso e colocar a mão no bolso quando ela estiver dentro de que estabeleceu para gastar.
