I got these in May (currently Sept), they look and feel great! The Girlfriend and I used the almost daily and about a month ago I noticed the black coloring is coming off, it's not necessarily an issue because it's a daily utensil. It's not peeling or anything it just seems the portion which contacts food the most has a thinner layer of the coloring. Function and shape is great! Just wish coloring would have lasted

I love this set... it is very pretty and heavy duty. Gave it only 4 stars because it came with the pieces not in the slots in the case they were just kind of laid in the case. The picture I took was after I put them in the slots. One spoon had a small scratch like imperfection on it. Otherwise great buy.

These are amazing. I am so glad I purchased these on a whim. I didnt really expect it to come in a case, and even though it isn't the nicest case you can get, it is pretty cool with a neat little latch. We are a busy family and don't always get to have a sit down meal. When we do get a chance we pull these out and the kids love them. They especially love when we have fruit for dessert and love to use the little fruit/hors d'oeuvre forks.I haven't had them long enough to know how they stand up to wear and tear. So far so good.

They packaging looks like it was attempting to be fancy since it came in a briefcase, but the it was broken. That aside the silverware it self was bigger than average. There were some tiny abnormal forks. But other wise looks great and great quality. Definitely something that turns heads and will surprise guests.

This is an awesome set! The knives are serated as well so they can be used to cut things and they are definitely glossy black. Searched Amazon for a long time to find these and I am more than pleased with this set. The box it comes in is also really nice and has a black textured reptilian scale like appearance and feel. 5 star purchase for sure!

I love them! I bought one set for my new home, tried them and immediately ordered another one. They are shiny black, which is unusual and kind of unique. I get a lot of compliments on this. Easy to clean.The only concern is I don’t know for how long this beautiful black coverage will last. For now I’m happy.

Love this cutlery! The knives are more like steak knives though, would be nice to have some butter knives with the set.
