But, let me tell you, this product has exceeded all expectations.Basically, it's like having a personal assistant for your concrete needs. I mean, it's ingenious, really. It made the process of mixing concrete for our small pad so much smoother and less messy. You know how it can be, trying to mix concrete in a makeshift setup. But this bag, it's designed to make your life easier. It's compact, yet spacious enough to hold the right amount of materials without spilling. And the best part? It worked great, no complaints from my wife, who's the real expert on this.It's durable, too, which is a plus considering the wear and tear it might endure. So, in my experience, if you're looking for a reliable, efficient, and hassle-free way to mix concrete, this bag is the way to go. It's a must have, honestly. I'm glad I didn't dismiss it as just another tool. It's a testament to thoughtful design and practicality. I was planning a small project (4 bag of concert) when I discovered this product. It was a wonderful replacement for the old way of mixing concert. It's not only easier but also faster then mixing in a wheelbarrow. I used the same mixing bag for all 4 bags of ready-mix concert and the mixing bag was still in good shape. I recommend this product to anyone who has a small job (8 bags of ready-mix concert or less).

ordered the mixing bag as I was about to install a mailbox post and didn't want the hassle of using my wheelbarrow. included with the bag was a mixing guide for fast setting concrete which made it easier for me to prepare the amount of water to use.I suggest setting up as close to the target site as possible when using the mixing bag.I cut the top of the quikrete bag open, covered it with the mixing bag, turned it upside down and dumped the contents into the mixing bag which limited the amount of dust from the quikrete bag.poured the water in, twisted the bag and locked it using the included velcro strip and moved the bag back and forth until the quikrete looked ready.moved the bag to the edge of the post hole and poured the contents into the hole.easy-peasy.well, easy-peasy but for the weight of the quikrete bag and trying to mix it in the mixing bag. but, for a small project it was simple, easy to use and I didn't have to mix the quikrete in the wheelbarrow and deal with cleaning up the mess. certainly, the minimal dust released when emptying the quikrete bag was a plus.hosed down the bag, shook off as much of the water as possible, hung the bag upside down on a rack in my garage to dry off and will fold it up and store it for future use.the mixing bag worked for me and my one-off mailbox project. recommend using it for anyone with simple projects who do not want the complications of mixing, pouring and cleaning the tools and wheelbarrow.

So, I watched several instructional videos on the product therefore knew what I was getting into. After personally using the product I can say I'm not a big fan. As stated in the headline, the product does work, but there are just too many negatives for me to consider using one again. #1) for one time use there isn't any problem, after the first us, the bag is obviously wet, so getting second and subsequent bags poured in the mixing bag without getting concrete on you is difficult. #2) getting all the material and water mixed thoroughly is difficult, several batches I wound up with material that wasn't completed mixed #3) Having to stay bent over while mixing takes it's toll on your back. I used it to mix six 50 lbs bags and I can say that I would have preferred standing up with a rack or hoe and mixing them in a mixing pan rather than use this bag. As for the bag, I will say it is made of quality material and did stand up to the 6 bags I mixed. I saw comments in one review where they said they rinsed and re-used their bag. Good on them. For a $10.00 bag, isn't anything I'd consider. Sooo, if you are in a bind, have to mix a bag or two and have no other options available, this will work. But for me, it won't be a repeat buy.

I used/mixed concrete using this product on a soft surface. And I was pretty gentle. But the bag leaked from the bottom corner after the first bag mix of concrete. It is definitely a defect/flaw design because the hole was not created from puncture force.I think I would be able to put duct tape on that part and still use it for several more rounds. Anyway, this product is not tough considering the price.Update:I was able to use the product for several more rounds putting duct tape on the bottom edge. However, the velcro broke after 5 rounds of mixing.The product needs to be improved in many ways. If you are planning to do 1~2 concrete bags, go for it. But it is definitely not designed to be used 10 times as they describe.Other reviews are suggesting to use a cable tie instead of velcro, however, I find that you don't really need anything. You can still mix by Just holding one end with your hand.
