Favorite Bibs!
Velcro bibs what a laugh, pullover bibs =pulled off, tie on bibs not as ideal... Now these bibs are our favorite.i was worried my 1.5 year old would be able to undo them with one pull (as I've seen her bust baby gates, and so forth) yet she has yet to try. I was running out of bibs that she couldn't figure out or the washer hadn't ruined when I decided to search on Amazon. Seeing all the great reviews was already reassuring. "Waterproof, big, child proof ;), great colors." Yep, all true! These are the absolute best. Upon arrival I was skeptical about the whole "water resistant," so I created a net with the bib and ran water into it to see if any water leaked through and to my surprise the thin "waterproof" material was just that. I only wish I would have purchased sooner. If my review has been helpful please let me know by selecting helpful.

They fit my 5 year old!
My son with special needs finally outgrew his Bumkins bibs. Each time we ate there was a 2 inch thick line of mess on his shirt (usually yogurt)where there was a gap between his feeding chair tray and the bib. Come to think of it, I guess we outgrew the Bumkins bibs years ago. Lately I've been searching for alternatives and finally came across these after a Google search for "bibs for large kids" or some such. The box came tonight and I quickly slapped one on him. Eureka!. He's 46" tall and about to turn 5. They won't fit forever but I'm guessing at least the next 18 months. Hopefully by then we'll no longer need bibs. If anyone from the company is reading this, it WOULD be fabulous if you could make a bib one size larger to fill the gap between preschool and adult for those of us with special needs children. Plenty of terry-cloth options out there but these are much more appropriate for feeding.

Great bibs; need better fasteners.
Bought these for our goopy 1 yr and 3 yr olds. My only complaint is that the snaps are completely unreinforced. Any tugging by the child eventually causes them to rip out of the bib fabric. Even our normal snapping and unsnapping several times a day starts to tear the fabric after a while. I plan to replace the snaps with Velcro. Otherwise, they are great - nice size that covers the entire front of the 1 yr old and a good portion of the 3 yr old, and the fabric is easy to wipe off for quick clean ups and machine wash when needed.

They last forever and look great
There are a few baby/toddler purchases I have made that have really made life easier and these bibs are one of them. I love, love, love these. My toddler is messy and these bibs are perfect for him. Unlike other bibs, these are long and wide so they really catch a lot of food. Also, the neck circumference is ample. I have a stout toddler and these fit great with plenty of room to grow.I keep these on a command hook by the kitchen sink. Whenever he's going to eat, I grab one off and put it on him. Once he is done eating, I give it a quick rinse and put it back on the command hook. Depending on what he is eating, I get to use a bib a few times before having to put it in the washing machine. These wash so amazingly well!! They always look brand new!The best part about these bibs is their durability. I've brought one of these bibs out to a restaurant, my toddler wore it, I shoved it back into his little travel lunch bag and then forgot about it for a week. If this happened with any other bib it would probably have a little bit of mold and permanent stains but not this bib. Toss it in the wash and it comes back perfect.

these are the BEST. You should buy these
Seriously: moms, dads, grandparents, family and friends...these are the BEST. You should buy these. They keep our girl clean and dry thanks to them being so large (long enough to go down past the high chair tray and wide enough to cover her whole front). They allow us to let her feed herself and not worry about a mess on her clothes. They are waterproof so even when she spits out a drink of water (not my favorite game), her clothes are perfectly dry. And they ARE easy to wash. Just as they say, you can throw them into the wash like normal. I just wash them with the baby's clothes, our clothes load, towels, anything. Sometimes I pull them out before the dryer and sometimes I just throw them in. It hasn't diminished their performance one bit! They're expensive but you will love them for how easy they are and how effective they are.

Bibs work well with toddlers who are learning to feed themselves
Two-year-old twins are learning to eat messy foods with a spoon and a fork. Sometimes the food makes it to their mouths, and sometimes it lands elsewhere. LOL! These large bibs fit well, are easy to put on a wiggly toddler and are easily washable in a washing machine. They come out looking great and air dry quickly. (According to the instructions that come with the bibs, they can be dried in the dryer, but I just take them out of the washing machine, give them a shake and hang them up.)The other bibs I had did not reach far down enough, so the toddlers' laps ended up being coated in tomato sauce/dip/etc. I have been very pleased with these bibs, so far.Just to follow up a year later: twins are now three years old. The bibs have been through many washings, but still look (and work) great! The twins actually like these bibs and ask for their favorite colors. (We are lucky that they each like different colors!!!)

Large is right!
These bibs are great! My son loves to spit water out while eating, so we need a waterproof bib or I'd be changing him out of wet clothes constantly. We were using the Green Sprouts bibs which were perfect while he was a baby, but those started getting pretty small after he turned one. These are huge, the neck opening is big enough for a toddler, and they work just as well as the Green Sprouts did. The blue bib under the green Oxo Tot one in the photo is the Toppy Toddler, so you can see it's quite large and covers a larger one year old's shoulders and lap. The price seems kind of high for just 5 bibs, but with the amount of laundry these save me, I'm not mad. They're also super easy to wash in the sink if you have a spray hose, so they're not causing me any extra laundry either. Overall, I'm very pleased!
