Great iPod interface for GM cars
I purchased this for my Saturn Sky Redline and am very pleased with it. It gives me integration of my iPhone and can show song, track number, and artist on screen, as well as allowing me control over the music right from my radio. Install is pretty easy and it worked right away after hooking it up. The ability to play and control my iPod/iPhone with the factory radio is huge, especially in a convertible where an aftermarket stereo would be begging to be stolen. One thing to note is that this is an older design kit and has the older 30 pin connector instead of the newer lightning connector. I had one of the Apple brand 30 pin to lightning adapters around the house, so I plugged it onto the cable int he kit and now I'm set. Just make sure to remember this and have an adapter on hand if you have a newer iPod/iPhone

Works with iPad
I bought this back in July of last year, and have been very happy with my purchase. The best part about this interface, is that it is iPad compatible. I'm able to charge my iPad through it, and have the radio control the iPod software on the iPad. Using Direct mode, I'm able to listen to Pandora, and any other audio or video program through my stereo. I'm also able to control the application through my steering wheel control. If a call comes in over the bluetooth, it pauses Pandora, and starts it up again when the call is finished. I'm also able to skip to the next song using the steering wheel, and radio controls. It has been the best purchase I've made for my vehicle.I installed the cable, in the center console of my '10 Traverse. Installation was very easy, and took me about 45 minutes. My only complaint about this interface is that it always defaults to full control when you plug in your iPod or iPad. I wish it would stay in "Direct Mode." Other than that, it's perfect.

USA SPEC iPod Interface
Installed in my 09 Chevy Silverado with the stock Bose radio. Item is very easy to install, requiring only to swing the glove box door open all the way out of the way to allow access to the XM radio connections behind the glove box. The electronic box was mounted on the inside of the glove box using two sided tape. Software is a little difficult to navigate until you get used to it. Keeps the iPod charged. Displays the music title, album and artist on the stock radio display. Allows use of the steering wheel controls to advance to the next track only, which is all you need. Been using it daily for a couple of weeks now with no problems. Item is a bit costly, but allows for usage of the iPod directly linked to the radio which provides clear transmission of the music to the stereo. This setup is much better than the FM modulator type that I have used previously.

Great iPod integration
Great aftermarket add-on; the only thing it's missing in my opinion is the ability to enter in a specific song, title or artist... so you have to scroll through your entire catalog or put it in iDirect mode and use the ipod itself to find the song you want.

Direct Ipod connection to Factory Tahoe Radio
This interface worked great and does everything it says it does. Controlling the unit can be a bit tricky to learn but once you figure it out it works great. Real simple plug and play design, if you have factory XM/Sirius. Just unplugged a cable on the XM receiver, located behind the glove box in the 07 Tahoe, then plugged in the interface.Hardest part was hiding all the cables; a couple of zip ties helped bundle them up.

Excellent way to add your iPod
I have waited for this product and the wait was worth it. Installation took only about 30 minutes. No longer do I use an FM modulator or run a wire from my iPod to the factory stereo's input jack. The iPod is now hidden in the glove box and all controls are done through the factory stereo. I couldn't ask for a better system.

Doesn't work with my 2006 DTS. Also, connectors ...
Doesn't work with my 2006 DTS. Also, connectors are not the same style as factory, so uninstalling is a royal pain.
