Levi's Men's Extra Capacity Leather Slimfold Wallet

Don't know why this is rated so highly. It fails on two points. 1) It holds your driver's license poorly. Instead of the standard plastic window, it opts to have a black mesh screen. This makes it harder to see in dimly lit areas (pretty much everywhere you would be carded). Because of that, you'd need to remove it from your wallet and it's not a one handed maneuver like you experience with other wallets. On top of that, it fits your license off center in there and seems like little attention was paid to the design of this part. 2) All card holders are too deep. This thing has a tremendous amount of storage in it, but everything you put in becomes completely hidden except for the top mm. This makes it only possible to find things if you know where you put them, and not an easy grab to pull out. Not sure why they didn't cut it for "stadium" display as in other wallets. Everything besides that is great. It's a real shame. Not sure what they were thinking.

Feels like good quality but mine had a defect that prevented my DL to fit. Also all the card slots are smaller than on my previous wallet, so the cards are harder to fit, some larger ones do not fit at all. Will see if the replacement is better.

It seems that every time I need to purchase a new wallet there's a significant break-in period that goes along with the purchase. Not this time. Right out of the packaging this wallet was soft, flexible and ready for whatever I wanted to put in it. The 9 card pockets are perfect for my needs, 3 credit cards, 3 membership cards and 3 ID's. The screened ID holder is awesome for keeping the ID visible while offering some level of confidentiality from people looking over your shoulder; although it does require removing the ID for clear legibility. And it seems as though the newer version of this wallet doesn't have the zippered pouch other reviewers had talked about, so placing bills in the wallet isn't an issue at all. Edit (11/03/2012) The ID holder has started to tear slightly at the stitching. I'll upload a photo to show what I mean. I've owned the wallet for less than 2 months and have only taken the ID out of the holder twice. If this is any indication of how long the wallet will last and the quality of manufacturing, it doesn't look promising. Granted, the wallet was less than $25, but so was my last wallet that lasted a few years before my puppy chewed it apart. My rating has been reduced to 3 stars for now.

This wallet comfortably holds all my credit, loyalty and medical cards with room for more. Leather is soft and supple, but the double stitching looks like it will allow for a long wear life. The only thing I don't care for is the mesh window over the driver's license with forces the removal of the card to view.

Great wallet. I was so happy with it. Plenty of pockets and very durable. True to color (brown).

I was taking out the cardboard tags and ripped the leather. When they say extra capacity they mean it's big and bulky with lots of extra non removable inserts. This was a waist of money. I don't know how it got so many good reviews?

It is a nice wallet, constructed well and the leather feels good. The main problem, the feature I most wanted and was disappointed to discover, is the fact that it is anything but slim. I think if you use the word "Slimfold" in the title, the wallet should be, at least marginally considered, "slim." Upon loading it up with about half the cards I usually carry, this wallet measures 1.25" thick. The main reason for the bulk is the addition of a center "leaf" that adds about 0.5" to the wallet. It is not removable (without a knife). No effort seems to have been made to slim the wallet so if you want slim, don't buy this.

I searched a lot for other wallets and I chose this based on the reviews. I ordered this as a gift for my husband. He liked it very much. The leather is of very good quality and is smooth. He used a trifold before. Its verrrrrrrrry light weight even after all slots are filled.I am glad I did buy this.
