This is the best tool for cutting thin veneer. I've been in the refacing business for over 40 years and this tool is by far the cleanest cut you find .Other than a trim router, this tool is great.

Have used the all plastic tool (orange) for years and is a great little tool but not for $40 - 60 that it has risen to. Tried this because it’s a very fair price point at $20-25. Am very pleased with its better feel metal construction and plastic guide plane. I don’t use the scraping feature as I use Fast Caps bevel sander. Have had none of the issues others complain about and have had my own cabinet shop with 30 employees for 35 years. We have an automated machine to to most of the edge banding machine but there are always times when automation can’t be used. If I was starting out again or a DYIer this would be my tool of choice. Highly recommend

It gets the job done but leaves a mark on the wood if you push hard.

I Have only had this in my hands for a few days, & may I say , Just In Time!!! Using this tool along with another $5. item, Has cut my time of trimming glued on edge banding By 2/3. & it does a beautiful job. As I see on many reviews of other products along with this one, There are people out there that should Not be using tools!!!!!!!! Simple / Clean / & Hasn't scratched my work . BEAUTIFUL

Sooo, I am super disappointed. I refurbish furniture, had a lot of veneer needing to be trimmed. This tool sucks. It's not at all sharp! The blade doesn't glide, you have to push down super hard and are left with a jagged choppy line. It's like it tears the veneer. Bes8des this the guide left a scratch in my veneer runing the entire length of the dresser im working on. Don't recommend for wood veneer, maybe a decal or melamine. Better not dare try to use it going any way other than with the grain.

Gekocht zonder enige voorafgaande ervaring (ik sneed kantband altijd met een breekmes). Werkt goed, vergt wel wat handigheid maar eens je er mee weg bent gaat het. Geeft wel redelijk wat gekartelde randen, na een eerste snede dus afschrapen was bij mij een must (0,8mm pvc kantband). Als ik zie hoeveel kracht het vergt om dit te doen snap ik niet hoe toestellen waarbij beide kanten tegelijk gedaan worden, als je geen ervaring hebt, koop dan iets zoals deze

Hatte dieses Werkzeug schon einige Male im Einsatz und bin positiv überrascht, dass es immer noch so gut schneidet. Kanten abziehen mit einer kleinen Rundung geht erstaunlich gut. Für ein Millimeter Kanten vorbehaltlos zu enpfehlen.

Si riesce a fare cose che non sono fattibili con altri rifilatori, ma ho dovuto, inventarmi il modo di usarlo, perché se lo si usa come indicato....fa male il suo lavoro.

Esta muy bien. Lo que menos me gustó fue el precio es bastante caro. La pieza está bien construido y cumple con su cometido hasta cuantos de 1,5 mm. Si vas a utilizar cantos encolados con un cúter te vale, pero si vas a utilizar cantos con más grosor con pegamento (más bonito y más profesional) es una buena herramienta. Hay que utilizarlo antes de unir las tablas. Ejemplo: Hacer un cajón, si primero unes las tablas y bases,luego encolas y cantes cuando tienes que perfilar los cantos con esta máquina no llega hasta el final porque pega con el borde de cualquiera de las tablas por la parte interior. Una vez aprendido este consejo. La recomiendo. Va de lujo

Cuts a nice straight edge when trimming edge banding. Recommend to have in toolbox when woodworking.
