I bought this for a baby shower. It's cute, and I think the baby will really like it. As it will surely be the same size as her, haha. For $15 it's a real good value. More like a preemie, than newborn.

I got this doll for my niece, so I consider this doll my "great-niece". My niece is mixed and has brown eyes, and I wanted a doll that reflected that. She just turned 1, so the doll was the perfect size with a soft body that will allow her to sleep with her if she wants to.I think it is great that there are black dolls out there. I think this doll is great, but I think you need a third doll with darker skin. It is important to have dolls that reflect the diversity of the population, which is most obvious in skin tone.
