Perfect item exactly what I needed, Ive always previously used the venom charging dock but this is so much better, the battery life is at least double as long, and when one runs out you can just swap out the battery pack for a new one and put the other on charge. Only thing I found annoying is the lights glow quite bright so they illuminate my roof at night in my bedroom, however you can easily just put some masking tape over it and cover this so it isn’t a major issue.It’s small and compact which I like, and the wire tucks away into the plastic so if you’re travelling it won’t get tangled - however it means the wire is quite short so you can’t keep it far away but realistically most people would keep it on top of there Xbox or to the side so again, not an issue. Great piece of kit, better than everything else on the market, would recommend

****UPDATE****This unit has both micro USB and USB C sockets at the top meaning you can use either cable to charge your batteries. This makes my comment about cable length redundant as you can purchase a longer cable to use with it would you need to. ******************Over priced genuine play and charge kits made me look at these and I'm very glad I did. I charged both and have 2 days of gaming off one charge and the same battery, keep waiting for it to run out mid game to see how quickly I swap it out...but it's still going. That means it's running rings around the MS battery!Pros:2 batteries for £20!Very long life.You can be using one while you charge the other.Good fit in the controller - no problems with getting battery cover on.Easy to charge wherever you are, from laptop, PC or phone charger.Seem to charge quite quickly but to be fair, I have charged once from new so far so they may have been partially charged.Cons:You can't charge the battery while it's in the controller - I knew this when I bought them so not a problem but more of a clarification.Lead on the charger is a little short and cannot be removed and swapped for a longer one.All in all I was thinking I might be taking a punt on these for £20 but they are spot on.

Battery life is 2 plus weeks so far, however I am not a hard core gamer and only play around 5-7 hours a week. It takes a while to charge but the battery life is well worth it and as it has 2 batteries you can charge one whilst the other is in use. Absolutely would recommend this item to anyone, even hardcore gamers as I have a friend who recommend it to me and his lasted over a week whilst taking serious hammer

Both packs came half charged, after initial full charge, I’ve been swapping them out for each other without problem. All good.

Absolutely fantastic value for money.No doubts, but them! I was a bit dubious then being Chinese but upon arrival opened a lovely neat box.Charged for approx two hours and bang been playing with one so far! Other one is waiting! Probably about 32/34 hours total so far.Absolutely fantastic, I’ve tried the play and charge kit, Venom and others and they all died within a few months.These are totally fantastic will report on the life as the months progress, also useable on the series X so bit of future proofing!** update september 24/2020**Still rock solid. Actually left them for a few weeks of no use during lockdown and they still had plenty of charge!One of these saw me through three twelve hour binges on Borderlands 3. Had to finally swap to the second pack.Charge fast, hold charge for ridiculously long play time. If you want even more time, turn off vibration in games.Seriously cannot praise these enough.Best thing about these? You can carry them over to your series X.Will note - if you don’t plan on using these for a long period of time deplete them and charge for about an hour or two (roughly half charge). Will be solid even when you get back to them.

We all know what its like, you're in the middle of a game and suddenly the message pops up. "Your batteries are low".Before now, you would scramble for some double As, or wrestle with a knotted micro USB cable, and the hassle would be unbearable.WELL NOT ANYMORE!This bad boy comes with 2 rechargeable battery packs, so you can charge one whilst gaming with the other. Swapping batteries mid game is as easy as reloading a Grau 5.56. (Note. I have never reloaded a Grau IRL)Only gripe is that my micro USB cables won't actually work with the port built into the charger. HOWEVER the neat little USB cable that wraps around this item works perfectly with any USB port you use. The LED light above the charging battery is also useful to let you know when its fully charged.(For best results, never leave on charge overnight, and always unplug once light turns green)

Picked up a new Series X and with the new controller being USB-C I knew I needed another option for keeping controllers charged. This was basically the same price as the plug and play kit but comes with 2 batteries. So many different ways to charge it is helpful as well as I can plug it into the same charger as my phone to charge the devices and the in-built USB is handy if I'm stuck in a bind. Bit heavier than the official batteries but also significantly more powerful and it didn't impact the experience using it. Would recommend.
