Energy efficient and works great
We have been using this unit for over a month and it works great. It heats the water within seconds and it is so much more energy efficient than our old unit which is constantly heating 50 gallons. I feel like the whole world needs to go to these and leave the dinosaur hot water units in the past. We are always looking for simple ways to live better and this fit right into that equation. We only have one bathroom so the 11v is plenty for our needs. If you are supplying hot water to multiple places at once then you may consider a larger unit. If you can manage your use to varied times a smaller unit would likely still serve you well. Doing our part to save resources!

AWSOME so far
This is an AWSOME water heater so far. I am using it for a studio/in-law apartment above my 3car garage. It supplies a shower, bathroom sink and kitchen sink without a problem. I used stainless steel braided flex lines for inlet and outlet lines, that made install easy. I does require allot of power , 60 amp breaker and # 6 wire so just be aware of that before purchasing. I have a 200 amp service so that was not a problem for me. As long as it lasts it is a great buy for the money.

Don't heat water fast enough
Nice and small unit . But not real impressive. If you just barely turn water on to a trickle it heats up water hot. But the higher you turn on water the colder it gets.... the unit does not have enough chambers to heat up the water fast enough... no I would not buy again

Worth it!
Pretty happy with this so far. We have a weekend house and space was tight. Was skeptical about how well this would work…it is a champ so far. Been about 6 months. Amazed at how easy it installs (I am an electrician) and how compact it is. Keeps up even while showering! Pleasantly surprised!

Small but mighty
This water heater is surprisingly small, but in a small studio apartment, One sink, one bathroom, one washing machine it does the trick. One problem we had is after I installed it I ordered the same brand maintenance valves so that we can flush the system as required, but it turns out you need smaller valves. Check your pipe sizes before you order maintenance valves

Not a "buy once, cry once".
More like buy 5 at once and learn how to swap them yourself. These things are kind of junk. I go through about 1-2 a year. This was the first winter it didn't die on me, but probably because I just replaced it last summer. Last one would make the hot water black occasionally, the ones before that would stop heating the water unless it was super low pressure.I get the best life out of them by minimizing the usage time. I.e. only do one of these at a time; shower/washing dishes/doing laundry. If doing 2 at once, and the weather is like 20 degrees outside, thing's gonna need to be replaced.
