Quick Quilt Projects with Jelly Rolls, Fat Quarters, Honeybuns and Layer Cakes

As always, Darlene Zimmerman's instructions and illustrations are very clear. However, I was disappointed in the content. Yo-yo flowers and pincushions ??? These have been done many times over. There are some quilt patterns which might be interesting to a beginning quilter (using the jellyroll strips) but again, nothing that has not been seen before--with some slight variations. And all the quilt instructions suggest tools (EZ Quilting) with which she is connected, though one can complete the quilt using paper templates provided. I had hoped for more imaginative projects--

So many ideas with easy to follow instructions. I always tell ppl who want to buy me gifts to purchase pre-cuts for me. This book gives great insight on how I can be creative

Another great book by Darlene Zimmerman. This one includes her spin on smaller projects like pin cushions & pillows. Of course more great quilts. I am never disappointed by her color choices & design choices. A+++++ !

I did like this book too, I love the pictures. I think working off jelly rolls are great. Would recommend this book.

Very disappointed, perhaps it was how I read the title, but I thought this book was about making quick quilts, however there are only about half a dozen quilts in the book some of which are very small. The rest of the book contains extremely simple and uninspiring old fashioned projects, might be good for a beginner but certainly does nothing for me. Had I realised what the book contained I would never have ordered it. If only Amazon included pictures of all the items in a book this would help to make informed decisions when purchasing. Don't think I will be ordering enything else by this particular author.

Wonderful book. Very easy projects. Good pictures and instructions. Worth buying for the beginner and expert. The projects are quick and make lovely gifts.

i was looking forward to her latest book but not impressed .nothing really new .not up to her usual standard.
